The whole experience was incredible. Best meal I ate on Nassau. Thai green curry was spicy but well flavored. Usually avoid obvious curry choice but it was recommended and well worth it. all starters and mochi dessert were top quality.
Amazing food. The Recipes were great and the service was as well. Henry was so amazing as a server. Ate here twice would definitely come back here.
Really wanted butter chicken but found out it isnt offered anymore.

Tried Shima for the first time. The atmosphere was great but flies and poor serve just brought the experience way down. The waiter showed up at our table twice (to take our order and to receive payment). We tried the Pad see ew, but found it too sweet. We were distracted by the flies that approached us as soon as we began eating. Had to scarf the food down quickly. Our friend told us that we should have reached out to the manager. Wish we had done so.

When we were first seated, the server introduced himself along with the person that was assisting him. After this we never saw the server again. The server that was SUPPOSED to be assisting him was our main server for the remainder of the night.
Unfortunately it felt like this server was not very experienced. He was polite but no urgency. Had to call over management twice for assistance.

I was a guest, but I noted the waiter asked my sponsor if he wanted to add further tip...he felt uncomfortable...caused him to ask me "should I?"...we did a little extra...but please stop this...obviously hasn't been communicated to wait staff per my previous review (despite affirmation it would be)...bill already has 15% gratuity...leave it at that or you will keep leaving customers with that lasting impression that leaves a "bad taste" in their mouth, which your food doesn't...
Overall the experience was great; however, I would ask that in future, the host(s) ask guests whether they are vaccinated/have a recent covid test (requirements to sit indoors), and would like to dine indoors rather than assuming that guests do not meet the requirements and not providing them the option of indoor or outdoor dining.

Lovely scenery, cool enough to sit outside, prompt service and we decided to have lots of small plates which were all delicious and plenty of food for the two of us. Was great to chat with the chef too, nice touch.
We loved the arts, the ambiance, the staff, the food is delicious and it’s a beautiful restaurant inside a great Boutique Hotel .

The service was ok, just a minor issue, my husband asked for cucumber in his drink and the waiter forgot, The waiter also had to come back confirm whether it was gin and tonic or gin and club soda. I asked the waiter if they had any fully cooked sushi rolls, he told me the only one was the tempura shrimp. when it came to the table there, was raw tuna on top. Other than that the drinks and the food was good. We did enjoy the sushi afterall. Their Curry is very nice.
