Can be great but last night one person’s meal didnt arrive until we were all done with no apologies. Salmon was great and bai buns. Coordinating food timing needs a lot if work.Tips included so little motivation to make things right.

Lovely scenery, cool enough to sit outside, prompt service and we decided to have lots of small plates which were all delicious and plenty of food for the two of us. Was great to chat with the chef too, nice touch.
We loved the arts, the ambiance, the staff, the food is delicious and it’s a beautiful restaurant inside a great Boutique Hotel .

The service was ok, just a minor issue, my husband asked for cucumber in his drink and the waiter forgot, The waiter also had to come back confirm whether it was gin and tonic or gin and club soda. I asked the waiter if they had any fully cooked sushi rolls, he told me the only one was the tempura shrimp. when it came to the table there, was raw tuna on top. Other than that the drinks and the food was good. We did enjoy the sushi afterall. Their Curry is very nice.

Amazing spot for Thai cuisine. The curries were fresh and the mixed drinks recommendations were paired nicely. The Pepper Yellowtail Sashimi was nice & fresh, while the Thai green curry was smooth and yum. Got mine with shrimp instead of chicken. Ask for Edwin to serve your table, he’s super attentive and gives the best service imo!

Haven't been to Shima for a while - this was an amazing return. Everyone from the hostess to the server to the Manager knew it was my birthday and made me feel special. I had Butter Shrimp and my wife had the Barramundi. Both were excellent. A great experience.

As always, the food was great. But I have a consistent gripe that has been bugging me now for a while. The staff are either trained to do this, or management is not aware, but I find it uncomfortable and wrong for the following to be done. The waiter always asks in a well rehearsed manner "would you like to add a tip" and you are quite frankly made to feel uncomfortable for not increasing the existing automatically applied 15%! More than once I have felt the waiters palpable disappointment at not increasing it. This is unpleasant to experience. The Bahamas is expensive enough, and your food is not cheap. The food and service is great and I never resent having the 15% gratuity automatically added, but please let a customer add more at their "discretion" and not be asked if they want to in front of their guests. Its a deliberate practice and I personally find it unpleasant at the end of a great meal. Thanks.

The service we had was God awful. They comped us some stuff but it was just soooooooo bad. The first time we went service was good. The second time it was awful and I feel bad even saying this but I have to warn people about our experience.
