   Fabulous meal and great service. We stayed for two nights and had dinner on the Saturday.

   Beautiful quality food and creative menu. Portions on the small side. Service attentive and friendly. Outdoor tables old, with a faint smell of sewage from the river. Plant pots from last year hanging around with grass thriving in them. To summarise, the surroundings didn’t live up to the food - was expecting perfection for the price and reputation.

   We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day. We ate off of the main menu and the food was superb as always but the stand out dish was the Rhubarb Macaron which is one of the best desserts I have had. Always a pleasure to eat here, never disappointed.

   The service and food were excellent, we were in the upstairs dining room, it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely make the effort to visit again.

   We live thus place. Service is exceptional wine choice brilliant we had two bottles of la Onderre A Roman wine. All the food was very good but now there seems a much smaller choice and much less exciting than it used to be. We’ll keep going as it’s a great walk there from Shibden hall. Hoping the menu will pick up

   Fabulous place I stumbled on. The food, staff and overall place was fabulous. We will definitely be back & thoroughly recommend a visit. They catered really well & with no fuss for dietary restrictions too.

   One of the best restaurants in Yorkshire if not beyond - first class friendly service, backed up with incredible food in a stunning location. What more could you want?

    A nice time. Good service, good food. I did send my dessert back as it was very dry which felt awkward to do. Thankfully the chef saw that it was indeed dry and not at all as intended so I was refunded this. The other dessert at the table was good but not exceptional. I suspect we'd have enjoyed the starters more, they sounded delicious! I'd be very glad to go again, still heartily enjoyed.
