   Unlike some peoples reviews who either can't read (they have 7 vegetarian curries!) or whose standards are much higher than mine, we really enjoyed our dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful when we asked questions.

   When we are eating the staff was helpfull. Also when my wife said it was to hot for her, the offered an other meal. Very good and tastfull. (Indian can be hot, so that is our problem)

   Pre booked via Open Table for a Saturday night in November at 6.00. Arrived on time, and the restaurant was busy. Our table was ready. There was only a pre-theatre menu on the table so I asked the waitress for the normal menu as it wasn't what we were wanting. She very polite and told me that the pre-theatre menu was all that was on offer at that time of the evening. I explained that I wasn't aware of that beforehand, and had I known then we would have not booked. She had a word with the manager who 'over-ruled the chef' and offered us the normal menu. We were back in business! The food was very good, (poppadum's, pickles, chicken tikka, rogan josh, naan, special rice) and the staff were also very good (although we had to ask for water 3 times before getting it, only a minor niggle) and polite. Not a very 'up market' interior, but I would go back for the food and service alone. Overall, not outstanding, but good value and I would return (after 7.00 though)

   The tarka dal was mind-blowing and the spinach was so well spiced it had us salivating! Totally the best Indian ever - and we lived in India!

   A disappointing experience overall. Food was really bland, the bread especially was really thick and doughy (uncooked in the middle)- although portions are really generous. Not an authentic curry experience - wouldn't recommend

    I booked a table for 12 in advance but some of my group were running late. Rather than ask us if we wanted to order food before the others arrived, staff kept asking us how long the others would be and I was at one point given a lecture about it which I found really patronising. It could have been approached differently without making me feel uncomfortable. For that reason I wouldn't recommend it for a large group even though the food was as amazing.
