   Consistently great food and service. Fried green tomatoes are wonderful and always the best mussels in Augusta. Tuna is delicious as are all the menu items. Especially like the fish options and the pasta. Drinks are great too. Always a nice cozy & relaxed dinner out.

   We enjoy the food and service at Sheehan's. We both opted for the Shepherd's Pie which is truly excellent with the use of lamb as opposed to the more common ground beef. The horseradish mashed potatoes are the "icing" on the cake. The salad portions are correct (not too small or too large) and the service is always spot on. Our only reason for not going more regularly is the very energetic noise level. We like to hear ourselves without shouting and more often than not, this is not possible. We took friends once, but not again, since none of us enjoyed shouting at each other during the meal. If great food and a very energetic noise level is for you, then you'll love Sheehans. If you want something more intimate, then either ask if there is a less popular time or find another venue.

   We love Sheehan’s and we’re very excited to share one of our favorite restaurants with friends that had never been. Our experience at the bar started out lively. Great service and drinks! Our appetizers came in at a trickle. One friend thought we were ordering entrees and placed his order. The server explained she was refilling drinks. We all said ok. 10 minutes later his entree came out. The rest of us had to ask the server to order entrees. We sat down at our table at 7:45 and got our food at 9:30. It was very awkward as one person in our party ate his food already.

   Fun festive good service good food - one complaint was the texture of the grits in the catfish entree- slightly hard and lumpy. Otherwise all dinners were delicious and we will go back!!

    Had a great experience at Sheehan's for my daughter's birthday. The service was top notch and so was the food. The bone marrow and cauliflower appetizers were enjoyed by the table. The cocktail with bourbon and apricot brandy was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

    I selected Sheehan's Irish Pub and Restaurant because I thought it would be Irish. It really wasn't. Two Irish entrees, and the chips that came with my fish n chips were horrible. Stodgy atmosphere. Expensive.

    My favorite restaurant in Augusta! Our favorites are the seafood pasta, green jacket salad, and Scotch egg. Margaritas and Old Fashions are superb!

    We went there during Masters week. The menu did not match the menu on Open Table. The menu items were more limited and did not accurately describe the meal served. For example, the “redskin mashed potatoes” had horseradish seasoning which was not stated on the menu. The food was very mediocre and took forever. Additionally, I have been to many restaurants and have never seen a Shepherds Pie that was so small. Ridiculous for the price charged. Our waitress tried her best, but the kitchen was backed up. We would never go back - and particularly would avoid during Masters Week.

    Crane’s Tavern has it all. Consistently great food and superb service in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Everything is done perfectly and professionally. The wait staff could not be any better. They know what they’re doing and how to do it. It makes for a most enjoyable experience, free from worry about each and every detail. From delicious food served and presented hot and in a timely fashion, to the amazing attention to detail from all those standing by to meet the guest’s every need. We were seated immediately at the table requested—-great first impression, and it always gets better. Drinks are also there right away, and they’re awesome. One of the best Manhattans I’ve ever had. Apps appear quickly and on time. The wedge salad is huge and was perfectly done. One of the best ever. And the entrees are served all together and are actually works of art. Menu is varied and has it all, from every kind of beef to several fish entrees, to pork, chicken, duck, and more. Blackened Tuna is amazing, Prime Rib is also amazing, and steaks are among the best on the island and they are cooked exactly as ordered, every time. Braised beef is divine. Sides are delicious, too, and that’s an extra thing that’s not always special, but theirs are equally as delicious as the entrees, especially the AMAZING scalloped potatoes, the sugar snap peas, the mashed potatoes, and the steamed spinach—all are the best of the best. Every item is as good as it gets, and each guest was very happy. Even the bread and butter served as you sit down are deliciously memorable. Not one thing that’s anything but the best. Kudos to the owner, the Chef and kitchen staff, the servers, and even the gracious hostess. And all with a smile. Again, a perfect evening which is quite rare nowadays. Be back soon, and that’s a fact!

    We made our reservations through Open Table. When we got there parking is very limited so allow extra time for parking. We were seated immediately. It took probably 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. Then we ordered our drinks. Our waiter brought us some water while we waited for our drinks. Then about 10 minutes later our drinks finally arrived. The waiter came and took our order for food. We ordered more to drink. Then I food finally arrived the waiter had told us that the bone marrow would take longer and come with my entree. Our food was delicious and hot. We had a great experience.     The corned beef egg rolls and Irish stew were delicious! I had the shepherd's pie which was way more than I could finish. The only issue was that we were there to celebrate and we were seated upstairs all alone with the party downstairs.

    We went to get some good Irish cuisine on Saint Patrick’s Day. The food was great. I had corned beef and cabbage very good. The staff was hustling to keep everyone happy. I really enjoyed this dinner. I will go back.

    The atmosphere was lively, as it should have been for St. Patrick's Day, and the food was excellent. We were shown directly to our table, which was well situated, and the wait staff brought our drinks right away. After our order was taken, it did not take long to receive the food.     Food and service was excellent as usual. It was a bit loud, but it was a Friday night and the weekend is usually louder than during the week. The earlier your reservation, the quieter it is. Come early if you want it to be quiet and have lots of conversation at your table. This is one of my favorite places to eat!

    Both the service and the food were excellent. The server answered all our questions and when she was asked to recommend a dessert for us, she suggested the whiskey cake, which was really delicious. We ate at 5:00 pm and the sun was shining so brightly on our table that our server had to move us to another table. Blinds or curtains would have helped solve that problem. It was not noisy until about 6:00 pm. I would recommend this restaurant, but I would suggest that an early time be selected if they wanted to enjoy a quiet meal. The food was really GOOD!

    Small plates and large plates were very flavorful. Drinks were strong (enough). Waitress was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Owner stopped by our table a couple of times to introduce himself and make sure everything was to our satisfaction - very nice touch. We ate great and felt very welcomed.
