Everything we ordered was AMAZING! I saw this restaurant on an episode of Somebody Feed Phil, and I knew we had to come here. It totally lived up to the hype. Great happy hour deals, too! Even if you don’t like Mediterranean cuisine, do yourself a favor and at least try the pita, sugar snap pea hummus, and the labneh. Life-changing. Thank you for everything!
Really fresh high quality. Service was adequate and competent.
Excellent food. Loved the cauliflower small plate! Amazing. The bread is to die for
Everything on the menu was outstanding! The cauliflower hummus was my favorite!
Great Mother’s Day meal. Every dish is full of flavor and very affordable.
This place was above my expectations. They are so nice and accommodating, and just great service. The food was all amazing. I will be back !
Very good. Will return
IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The service was great, the food...worth the flight from Chicago to took to eat here! We tried cocktails, hummus, harissa, falafel, Israeli salad, short rib sandwich and chicken shnitzle sandwich- and the fresh pita bread...WOW!
This is our third visit over a 4 year span. Each have been consistently excellent both in terms of food quality, good service & value, which I find is quite rare over time. So, Shaya, I eagerly look forward to the next time xxx
Fantastic. Had a wonderful time. Everything we ate was over the top. Would recommend Shaya's.
If you love Mediterranean food this place will make you very happy
Our experience was fabulous! We had people with various food requirements and everyone was able to have a tasty meal and cocktails. We were fortunate to be able to sit outside on a beautiful day! Staff was amazing
Great food, good price, and excellent atmosphere. The crew are friendly and professional.
what a great place to eat. visit New Orleans a couple of times per year and expect great food. have now added Shaya to status of must dine there. spreads, hummus, lamb and pita are best i have ever had.
The food is top notch! Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Sad- have heard so much about this restaurant. Our server was precious but the food was mediocre- cauliflower was tasteless- we were with a group of girls and all were sad about the food
Shaya never disappoints. The freshly wood-oven baked pitas are the highlight. Don’t miss the fried chicken hummus, whenever it’s offered. Great wines by the glass, too. And the cinnamon babka for dessert is sublime.
Lovely Birthday Lunch
The food was phenomenal and the waiter was incredible!
This was our first time at Shaya. As a local, I’ve always wanted to try it. To sum it up, the 2 menu cocktails we ordered were kind of lackluster and we were served arguably the worst dirty martini I’ve ever tried. The food was really good. The lamb Kofte was excellent. Our service was....neutral....but terrible or great.
To be honest, after trying both Shaya & Saba, my partner & I would return to Saba over Shaya.
One of the best in New Orleans. Awesome!
Sat outdoors in their beautiful patio. Great selection of small plates to share
Service was great. Our waiter was very nice. The menu is always great. Enjoyable girls night!
As good as ever, from the pita to the cinnamon babka, Shasta has never disappointed us.
Great food & served on the patio
Excellent food and top notch service. A favorite for sure!
Really outstanding food although my affection for this cuisine may affect my judgement. Friendly and attentive service. A little loud for conversation. Excellent overall. Worth a trip to NOLA by itself.
This was my first time dining with you and it was fantastic! I had a business dinner with a client from Israel and he was impressed with the food and the service. I will definitely keep this as one of my places to bring clients and family again. Thank you and “Bon Appetite”!
We really enjoy the food at Shaya! Very different and unique, the flavors are amazing.
Brought my daughter and her college friends for dinner out — we ate at shaya when she looked at Tulane, when she moved in, and now, after I had been vaccinated and felt I could travel safely to visit, once she came to Tulane. Festive, delicious and fabulous.
Awesome food! Loved it. Would go back everyday!
Delicious israeli food... perfect for large groups indoors and out.
My favorites are the cauliflower hummus and baba ganoush
The food was just fantastic
Delicious and unique flavors!
We loved our first time here. The hummus was of the quality you get in Tel Aviv. The pita was perfection. The chicken schnitzle sandwich was great. I thought we ordered too much, but ended up licking the plates.
Firstly, the hummus and pitas were to die for. Next, we made a reservation for a Tuesday night online and came in a half hour early and we were seated right away! Our service was tremendous and, considering I live in NYC, the prices for the food were great as well.
Absolutely loved everything about it! The food was amazing, the rose was delicious and the ambiance was perfect!
The wait staff was very inattentive and the prices were high.
