Absolutely loved our dinner at Shaya--the hummus dishes, fresh pita bread, and lamb shank all made for a very memorable evening. Service was top notch!
Service was excellent and we really enjoyed happy hour!
Shaya has amazing food. The ambiance is relaxing and the staff is friendly. Nothing to complain about - just go! The restaurant is on Magazine street and it’s also fun to walk around before/after the meal. The best teas I’ve had, the best salad, and certainly the best freshly made bread.
One of the best meals I have ever had - I travelled from Houston just to try it, and I would recommend to any of my friends
Great experience. Very friendly staff.
Visited for birthday and food was fantastic!
Everyone agreed that the food gets better with each visit!
Love the place. The pitas are best anywhere. Love all the appitizer dips.
Great food and service. Wonderful atmosphere. We look forward to going back.
Fantastic dining experience!
We asked fir drink suggestions and all of us felt he directed us toward the perfect cocktail. We shared several hummus appetizers, flank steak, sea bass, and tuna entrees, and the cheesecake & babka desserts—all were delicious flavor combinations and presented beautifully. Can’t wait to return!
Delicious. Can't wait to return. Everything was outstanding!
Everything was wonderful from the service to the food to the prep of the food to go. My daughter had a nice date lunch and will be back.
An amazing dining experience! My husband can’t stop talking about how much he enjoyed his meal. Best pita ever :)
incredible food and atmosphere! the pita is unmatched and freshly baked right from a wood fired oven. the waiters are attentive and helpful! the environment in bright and airy, too.
This meal was the highlight to our stay in NOLA. We will be back on our next visit. Outstanding meal and service.
The food was very good! Everything is meant to be shared, so dine with people you are comfortable.
Cocktails were very good! We had the whole roasted cauliflower, Lima beans, moussaka, pickles, and tahini hummus. So yummy! Very filling.
Great middle eastern food. Excellent vegetarian options. Ooh! And great cocktails too!
Food was excellent!
Easter and daughter leaving for Los Angeles
Food amazing, service so so...she didn’t really engage with us & I felt like she was rushed. Wouldn’t get cocktails again - too sweet & lacked the craft of most cocktails in NOLA
Hummus and fried chicken is great, falafel was crisp and green, drinks were on point.
In town for a lil vacation, we heard about shaya from the show somebody feed Phil, it truly didn’t disappoint. We came on Monday as our celebration meal and we loved it so we came back on Friday. Every time I’m in town that will definitely be my stop!!!
Vacation dining at Shaya! Was a wonderful meal. The fried chicken hummus is so good! Everything we ate here is awesome.
We have visited Shaya twice, both times when visiting Tulane. We loved it so much on our first trip that we made a point to go back on our next, even though we had plenty of new options to try. Fresh, delicious, flavorful. Best hummus and fresh, hot pita!
Fantastic as always. The flavors were amazing and the service was great.
Great food with so many vegetarian options. Pita bread was amazing! Will be going back!
Loved our experience. Food was coursed fairly quickly, but the flavor was amazing
Excellent service, drinks and food. This was my first time and didn't know what to expect but everything was exceptional
This was probably my best food experience during my New Orleans visit. Everything was unusual and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Wait staff was attentive, but not too much. Best meal I've had in a while.
The freshly made hot pita bread was such a treat and everything we sampled was delicious!
Our second time and it did not disappoint.
Great happy hour!
The food was all delicious but the hummus with fried chicken was superb! One of the best things I've eaten~
Lunch with my mother, a young 95 year old. She enjoyed.
Shaya did not disappoint. The pita was so fresh; literally taken out of the oven and within a couple minutes is piping hot and steaming on your table. We tried a variety of dishes and couldn’t choose a favorite. The Cinnamon Babka was the perfect end to a wonderful meal.
The food is delicious. Everyone is so nice. The humous is delicious as are the salads. Enjoy!
What a great place. Friendly helpful staff . Great selection on menu from wines drinks and food. Hummus lamb ragu. Never had better. Everything we was presented beautifully and was a flavourful journey
