All the food was delicious! The service was amazing! The Babka King Cake reminded both my wife and me of our childhood family babkas. We can’t wait to come back!
Great food. Seating is too close for covid.
Ist time to Shaya. Dinner was awesome and cocktails were well done. The fried chicken hummus was fantastic. Looking forward to a return trip to try more things.
Wait staff was not very attentive and lack concerned service that I expect from a place of this quality. Definitely a disappointment for myself and my guest. Waited extremely long for drinks, water and food. Food didn’t come out in the correct order or time. We told the waiter to bring us the check he took over five minutes, we all stood up to indicate that we needed to leave. He continued to pour water to the rest of the restaurant and didn’t acknowledge us at all. If I come back I will be sat in a different section if I come back at all.
The food is always great even though the menu was missing some of my favorites. The ambiance is great but, some of the walls need attention from the wallpaper. Other than that, beautiful experience.
As always, the food was exceptional. Host and wait staff were friendly and attentive. Shaya never fails.
The food and ambiance was great! Our server was wonderful - we told her we were celebrating a birthday and she gave us a free dessert with a candle on top. I live out of town and wish I could order the bread and have it shipped to my house.
Amazing amazing experience!! I used to work at SHAYA in high school. Same quality service . I celebrated my 23 birthday here for lunch with my sister and everything was simply delicious. I need to visit more often.
A must go - outstanding in every way!
The food is never a disappointment. All the hummus is out of this world. The pita to die for. Slow roasted lamb is the Bomb ! Can’t go wrong. Bean was our server, exceptional kindness, knowledgeable and attentive. Exactly what you want . Great job all around
Best pita bread
Excellent food and service. Will highly recommend this for the foodie. Create and elevated food.
Excellent food!! We could fill up on the fried chicken humus and the 2 warm pita breads and olive oil. We also got the Salmon and Ruby Red shrimp, which was also delicious and we had a lot of leftovers. Along with a glass of wine each the bill was $100, which is a bit much for a lunch but we'll be back.
👌🏼 the food was amazing!
Fantastic food and excellent service.
Delicious!! Great experience!!
The food is absolutely amazing and the service is unmatched.
Everything about Shaya was fantastic. Amazing service. Amazing food. Best pita I’ve ever had.
Great experience! Unlike other BRG restaurants, no break on cocktails during Happy Hour. Had a bunch of small plates and the hangar steak. All prepared perfectly. Bread delicious- a requirement for this type of restaurant of course but they nailed it. Get the Ikra and add the caviar. We'll be back.
The food and ambiance is perfect for any occasion (including “just cause”). You won’t be disappointed.
Great experience...food was yummy.
Excellent service and food. Fantastic experience.
interesting and delicious food a little off the beaten path. Server
Shaya is simply outstanding. One of my new favorite restaurants in NOLA. We loved it so much we went twice during our recent visit. Everything we had was superb.
I really enjoyed the freshly baked pita bread with the fried chicken hummus. The Israeli salad and fried goat cheese were only okay. Salmon was tender. Service was good.
The food is wonderfully different. The pace of the meal is quite slow, but in an enjoyable, companionable, relaxed way. In this all too hurried world, to slow down and savor is a treat. The only reason I gave the value a 4 instead of a 5 is that, although pretty much standard, $14 for a cocktail is just too much. Still, it was a good cocktail.
I highly recommend Shaya. I will return.
fantastic service, thanks to Ryan, and delicious and creative food. The bread is out of this world. We’ll be back
Superb food and service!
What a fun dining experience! All shareable dishes, fantastic food, super service!
Server Lee was the perfect mix of friendly and professional. Can’t wait for next visit.
Excellent food and service! We visited SHAYA before the pandemic and couldn’t wait to return. The sides and the main entrees are amazing! Super fresh and tasty. A must dine-in stop while visiting New Orleans!
It’s been a few years since I’ve been in New Orleans and this was the first thing I booked. The entire experience was phenomenal and my next trip to New Orleans will also begin with a reservation to Shaya. The food is spectacular (I’d recommend a hummus and the moussaka to start), and you can’t go wrong with the entrees. The staff was great and friendly. Among the best experiences in New Orleans.
Amazing food and service! The bread, as I am sure has been said many times before, is fantastic!
Shaya was amazing as always! A favorite whenever we visit New Orleans!
One of the best middle eastern food we have had in USA.
The food here was amazing!
Excellent and flavorful food. The service was great too!
Food was excellent but had to wait beyond my reservation time but once we were seated the experience was a home run!
Visiting town, great food! Excellent gluten free options
