Ate at Oyster Bar portion of restaurant and so glad we went! Absolutely amazing oysters - the Arcadia Point were our fave. Then we had some spicy shrimp crispy rice, also delicious with just the right amount of spice. Next we shared the lump crab cake which was one of best I've ever had! And we each had a bowl of their phenomenal soup, lobster bisque for me, New England clam chowder for my husband. Finally we moved on to our main course with the horseradish crusted whitefish for my husband and the signature seafood salad for me. Both were out of this world but I had to bring half the salad home ... along with a slice of coconut cream pie!! Our only complaint is we were sat at a VERY small two-top, right next to a 4-top that sat empty the entire time we ate. Had a four-top been sat there it would have been a bit awkward since we used that table multiple time to continuously juggle plates so as to fit our courses without spilling? Let's put the bread over there, etc. Otherwise a great meal from start to finish! Can't wait to go back!!!

The drinks were watered down and the service was questionable. We did not enjoy the experience and would never recommend it to anyone. I would skip this restaurant and head west to Joe's.

While I understand that the primary premise of these events is to introduce attendees to a specific wine producer, potentially enhancing the vintner’s exposure & distribution, as well as, selling products during the event while attendees gain immediate insights and purchase opportunities that may or may not be available in the local marketplace, I also expect a food service offering to satiate us. (1) The wine objective was absolutely met. I enjoyed the introduction, background and tasting experience. (2) Waite staff was excellent & presentation information. The rep was personal & available for questions & cordial conversation. And, (3) While I enjoyed the first 3 courses, particularly the generous oyster course offering, the following courses, will tasty were lacking in volume; Particularly the “main” course. The “rack of lamb” offering was no more than an appetizer item of “lamb lollipops”, and quite frankly, even using this label is a stretch! All things considered, a more accurate food offering description would have alleviated this false advertising…ie 2 small, 3 bite, lollipop size lamb ribs dos not qualify as a rack of lamb.

Love your wine dinners. I think I would add bread to table as portions are small. Wish I could get my wine shipped. I came in from burbs I can’t drive back down to pick up wine. My friend picking up , I will still have to drive back down. Also automatically add my points to account. Anyway wine was good.

We were so happy to see our previous server Brock from my last visit. He makes the experience above and beyond and is what made us really want to come back. Great suggestions and pairings by him. The food is great and fresh. The crab legs are the best I’ve had outside of a beach town. I can’t wait to come back again and visit Brock.

We had a reunion this weekend in Chicago so I decided to take my friends to the Oyster bar side of Shaw’s as I new we would want to be able to talk. It was the best location for our first night knowing we would be chatty. Our server was amazing, we had fantastic oysters and the signature salad with a side of lobster Mac and cheese, all of which were just perfect! This place never disappoints

We had dinner in the bar. It was lively and noisy as you'd expect. The service was great and the food as well.I have Celiacs so eating out can be a challenge for me. I had not problems ordering and didn't get sick. It's a bonus for me.

I am allergic to mushrooms and I told the waitress before we started eating. She did not tell me that the truffle mashed had pieces of mushroom in it. I had an allergic reaction at the table.

My wife and I ate in the Oyster Bar side of the restaurant We have eaten on both sides a number of times but really prefer the Oyster Bar side because of the vibe and the buzz. The food is some of the nest anywhere in the world in my opinion and the service is excellent. No pretense but very high quality. You feel welcome and pampered. The Lobster bisque is by far the best anywhere. It’s definitely not loaded with flower and there is plenty of lobster. Everything is great. Crabcakes, Filet, crab Legs, scallops. Delicious

Shaw’s has always been my go-to for service, ambiance and amazing food. Wow, I was let down in a big way. After being seated for 10 minutes, I had to flag a server for attention- just to get water service. From there another 10 before our server came over- and the entire night was awkward from servers. Rushed and scattered service- with plates being grabbed off the table and then said- “you’re done?!” that paired with having to flag down waitstaff all night. The saddest part is we wanted to order the seafood tower- we went for the seafood! However, we left after appetizers and spent our money elsewhere. So very sad to see such service and food decline.
