    The hostess was very rude. I wanted to enjoy dinner with my son so I decided not to complain. She told me, not asked, that I would be sitting in the oyster bar area. I reserved a table in the main dining area. She then set U.S. at an extremely small table. I’m sure it was on purpose Va sue I noticed her sitting other two party groups at larger tables. The restaurant has gone down hill over time and today was the icing on the cake.

    I’ve enjoyed Shaw’s for many years. The food, atmosphere, and service never disappoint. Tonight our server Corey was exceptional. A great server like Corey elevates the whole experience. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

    The food and service were impeccable! We had a lot of fun and loved the ambiance. We could not have asked for a better experience and will be back!

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family and I visit Chicago from St. Louis a few times a year, and this was our first time dining at Shaw’s Crab House & Oyster Bar and wow, what a memorable experience! We were celebrating two special occasions, and choosing Shaw’s couldn’t have been a better decision. The food was absolutely delicious! fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially loved the 🦪 oysters, so fresh and perfectly prepared! Our server, Chris, was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The runner was also incredibly attentive, always keeping our table clear and making sure we felt taken care of. The management team was equally wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. Sometimes it’s not just about the fancy restaurant, it’s the quality of service that truly makes the experience. And Shaw’s delivered on every level. I hope they continue to provide this kind of exceptional service, because it’s rare and hard to find these days. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

    We sat in the main bar and Aldo provided fantastic and welcoming service as did all the staff we encountered. The food was great. We had oysters and a seasonal shaved asparagus salad that was fresh and delicious. My husband had the seafood platter and I had the lake perch. Both entree’s were excellent, though I must say that they could provide a side with the perch. Their key lime pie is the perfect way to round out the meal.

    Jesus met us at our table and after some superb recommendations he served up cups of soup - 50-50 mix of Bisque and Chowder - WOW! Salmon, Haddock and Seafood Fettuccine were the main courses and then for desert … no one had room, but the ice cream and Crème Brûlée looked and smelled delicious as they were served at an adjacent table. The meal was first class and no one in our party left wanting anything more - a meal and an experience! Cheers, Gus
