   We had a great dinner at Shaws! The food was amazing, however the dining room was overcrowded. We had a difficult time hearing each other, and the tables were pretty close together.

   Our server, Sara, was incredibly personable and attentive to every detail. Her raspberry pie recommendation was spot on. A memorable night to be sure!

   We've been going to Shaw's for decades now so our take on the place is a bit jaded. In short: I don't like their new lunch menu. That's not to say that everything or anything on the menu isn't great. ... just my opinion. I miss the Jambalaya but the Gumbo is the best. I miss the steak sandwich but they serve a real cheeseburger that you can order medium rare instead of cooked to gray like the ubiquitous smashburgers. The Crab Cake sandwich is also gone but the plated Crab Cakes are still available and they're not filled with bread crumbs. The Lobster and Fish Tacos are delicious; the Iceberg Wedge salad is crisp; the Fish and Chips is made with Cod (as it should be); the Garlic Shrimp are a nice size and the King Crab is well steamed. Since they offer seasonal selections, the Norwegian is being served right now but you'll find Alaskan King Crab on the menu when in season. The Oyster Bar offers East and West Coast oysters. They offer a 3 course tasting menu (prix fixe) at lunch for only $38.00 which is a real bargain.

   First time to Shaw’s and it did not disappoint. The place was happening and full of locals and I’m sure a few tourists like us. Loved the entire vibe. The oysters were amazing and the oyster Rockefeller were the best we have ever had. We did combo plates to try out different items and all were great. If I had one hint I wish they would serve the raspberry pie warm/hot that would give what already is great just a bit more umph. Cannot wait to come back when we are in Chicago.

   Great place for lunch. The three course lunch is wonderful. Our server Rachel was superb! She gave great recommendations.

   Food was excellent! Surprised they didn’t acknowledge the birthday in anyway though. LEYE is usually on top of that

    Great experience. Back waiters taking care of every plate exchange and clearing was evidence of attention to detail making a first class experience. Great year after year for 40 years!
