Good food, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff
As always a very pleasant experience. Prime rib was excellent and service top notch.
There was live music by several local musicians and it was very good. The food: stuffed squash, corned beef and cabbage, and French Dip sandwich were superb. We had the burratta appetizer, which could have had double the amount of bread, otherwise delicious. Drinks were fresh and tasty. Sour apple donuts were delicious-a good amount to share. Waitress was attentive and friendly. We had a wonderful time.
Great Irish menu, cozy atmosphere, and wonderful food. Attentive and friendly staff.
Steaks were very good, cobb salad not so much. The cocktails, wine, apps, dessert, and service were very good.
Good restaurant. Small selection but great food and service.fair prices.
Always a great time and meal. Wonderful staff. Everything is delicious!
This group has been going out once a month for close to 40 years and we’re always looking for new experiences. We would certainly return to Shandon Court because the food was great, the drinks were potent and the service was excellent. It was a bit pricey but well worth the money. We left as the music was starting (we’re early birds)but the few numbers we heard sounded terrific.
Will not be returning
Horrible service , took 30 minutes just to get a drink
Great food and outstanding service. Our waitress Loretta was so friendly and funny. We really enjoyed the food and drinks. We will definitely be back.
We have been eating brunch regularly here for the last couple of months. Each time we go, the food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is great. Loretta has been our waitress for brunch on several occasions, and she always goes above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. I would highly recommend Shandon Court to anyone who is looking for a new place to experience unlike any other on the island. We have also gone to Shandon Court for dinner on multiple occasions. The food is always excellent, and we are always able to relax and enjoy ourselves every time we visit.
Great place with excellent food. Service was good
started with a late dinner for New Years eve. We were surprised to see a regular menu and as usual the food was good but the service was outstanding. Good live music and some dancing made for a fun new year party. Can't go wrong with Shannon Court.
What a fantastic place. The staff is wonderful along with the food however the music keeps us coming back. Highly recommended and worth the drive.
Went for an early NTE dinner. It was nice, the dining room was decorated for the holiday. The food and the service was excellent. There was the regular full menu, and a special menu for the night.
The experience was good as was the food and the service. We have been there many times before and I don’t think this time was as good as in the past. Th portions were generous but a little lacking in flavor. The potato soup was very good as was the beef barley soup. We will return again.
I took a couple of my employees out as both an employee appreciation event, and farewell dinner, since I'm changing territories in January.
Very impressed with the menu and service. Not necessarily an "intimate" place, but excellent for a great meal and great conversation.
After dinner, it was nice to see that they don't skimp on the coffee. And the apple cider donuts we had for dessert were amazing.
We had a holiday celebratory dinner at Shandon Court. I took my staff out for dinner. It was lovely, our server was personable and accommodating, the food was delicious and the ambience cozy, albeit a tad noisy but that's ok. It was my third time there, and the first for my company. Both individuals liked it very much.
Our favorite place!! Great food - either dining room or at the bar. The bar staff and wait staff are outstanding!
This place has really gone down hill. The only good part is the active bar scene and the free entertainment. So disappointed with my entree last 2 occasions.
Will go to see a concert , but skip it, not a bargain for mediocre food. For a catering hall, they really need to upkeep the hall entry. Dirty carpeting, broken furnishings, needs a face lift...too bad it used to be good.
service was excellent. The food was very good but a bit pricey for lunch. Presentation excellent. Good for lunch thank You
Had a wonderful time at this restaurant. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Prime Rib cooked to perfection with cauliflower and baked potato on the side. This plate is only offered from Thursday -Sunday while supplies last as written on menu. I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach. The bread that was brought out by Keith our waiter was all so tasty. A good piece of oatmeal bread with delicious flavored and plain butter. Hospitality is beyond words. Keith couldn't do enough for us. So well mannered. Heather the bartender sweet, caring also service with a smile. These two employees send the message to my wife and I that whoever hired them to work for their establishment are surely an asset. Looking forward to the next time. See you soon.
The best part of the meal was our server Loretta who was super sweet. The mimosa was made with Andre brut, I'd rather pay $12 and get a quality product. The handcut fries were too big and not cooked enough, they should have been halved. The concept and season were great but the execution was off. Meals were dry, bland and the ingredients used were not of quality-your basic mediocre run of the mill restaurant on Long Island.
Food was good. Had the Shepherds Pie...Delicious...a must when I visit an Irish establishment...
Service was excellent...
Great place . Good food and atmosphere. I would highly reccommend to family and friends. We will return for brunch soon. We can't wait.
When we first pulled up I wasn't sure it was my thing but what a surprise I lived every thing about it ! The food was great !!!!! And the place was very quaint! Would definitely do it again
We were seated right away at a proper table based upon the information we provided in our reservation. The ambiance of was a kind of warm "homelike" atmosphere that was conducive to at table talking (at least at the start of our meal). Later there was live music on hand. It was not too disruptive but it made conversation more difficult. Food wise, two of us had the Crab Cake appetizer. The portion was somewhat small for the money but they had a good taste particularly when paired with the provided dipping sauce. Another hit at the table was the fried parsnip and carrot appetizer. This was served with 3 different sauces and there was enough for everyone to share. One of us ordered the "Fall Hash" with Chicken which had surprisingly good flavor and variable textures. I ordered the Prime Rib end cut which was served Mashed Potatoes and Cauliflower Au gratin. I am told the Cauliflower was great (I could not eat due to an allergy) but the rest of my main meal was bland and unimpressive. The portions at this restaurant were decidedly small with one exception (Fried Vegetable Appetizer). The pricing was expensive given the location. We have eaten in NYC restaurants that had better food and cost less. Note: The sour apple doughnuts were excellent for dessert. There were some service related hiccups on this visit. For example, one member of our party had to wait 10 minutes for his appetizer while the rest of us ate what was served.
We're never disappointed. I had the Kale, Beet salad with chicken and sesame dressing. It was delicious. My husband has the Shepard's Pie...steaming hot but he loved it. Staff is always courteous and attentive.
Food was good. Service was good. Sat outside it was very nice and romantic.
This is a hidden gem. Although known for its irish dishes, the food options are all great. I highly recommend the donut dessert. The service is friendly, professional, and classy always. Great beer selection for those interested.
We had a great time at Shandon Court. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better time.
Very impressed with our waitress Loretta! Excellent service!
Excellent Prime Rib, Seafood and drinks. Staff is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is great, Irish Pub style with class. Live music and entertainment every night. Highly recommended!
Father's Day Brunch, great food, service and drinks!
great service. amazing food and desserts. a great find. thanks open table. :)
We met our friends for lunch and had never been here before. It was a lovely place for afternoon brunch. The menu accommodated both brunch and lunch. The mimosas and Bloody Mary were perfect. But our waitress Loretta made our visit memorable. She was charming, witty and because of her we would surely return.
The food was very good and the service as excellent.
I have eaten here twice before and found the food to be fine and of good value. This third time was unsatisfactory. The prime rib for $23.00 was tough/chewy/fatty. No better and maybe even less good than a typical prime rib dinner at a diner. I expected better. It was accompanied by cauliflower gratin: two or three florets in a ramekin and potato of choice. If I wanted diner food, I'd have gone to the Oconee.
Open Mic night. Very cool..staff was attentive. My wrap was nicely prepared and tasty..brew was cold!
This restaurant was very "common" and nothing special. The dining area was next to the bar and even though it was separated by a glass wall, the noise coming from the bar made conversation virtually impossible. Don't understand why the band had to play so loud since their were at best 10-15 in the bar, but I guess they were oblivious to other patrons. This restaurant was a big disappointment!!
