    Lots of vegan options. Wait staff was kind- maybe TOO attentive? Overall, I liked Shan and will likely be back!

    This is not ordinary Chinese-restaurant food; the dishes are sophisticated and delicious. Great combinations, spices, vegetables. Okra crunchy outside, soft inside. Eggplant hot and peppery, cold chicken chopped with bones in. Never had Szechuan like this. We try to go as often as we can.

    I love and enjoy the food here. The service can be impeccable but it can also be very aggressive - removing the plates, asking if we want new plates, asking if we’re done eating, trying to remove plates while Im actively eating, etc. - it can be overwhelming specially if you’re in the middle of a conversation or on a date. Giving customers space to enjoy the food and slow down from their day is a missing factor.

    Fabulous Szechuan food, served by attentive staff and the dishes came out quickly. Plenty of food and everything was delicious.

    My experience at Shan was absolutely amazing. I took my family out to this restaurant on a beautiful Saturday Afternoon. The food was great, the service was very hospitable and the ambiance was beautiful. I will definitely would want to come back in the near future. Thanks again to the staff at Shan

    this restaurant is on the top of its game with innovative-authentic dishes. The food is delicious and honest, backed up with great service and a great beer and wine list

    Shan was recommended by a female duo I follow on IG...bklynmavens. The experience surpassed my expectations, every dish was delicious with a bit of spice but not to overwhelm. My dinner companion does not eat meat and our waiter suggested the Dan Dan noodles without pork and it was a home run, she's currently looking up a recipe online to attempt it at home lol. She had the prawn dry pot as well and we both did the happy dance when tasted. I was not disappointed with my duck entree that came with buns, duck was cook to perfection and the sauce was perfect for that meal. We split the coconut cotta dessert, different for us but a welcomed change, tasty yet light. We will definitely return with others to experience Shan. Thank you for the good food and service!
