   Amazing food. Portion size needs to be looked at but really enjoyed the food, especially Hummus 😋

   After a movie next door, we booked supper on the way home. We chose to share the 'vegan mezze for two' and politely asked if we could 'swap' the stuffed vine leaves for falafel. Even though the price difference was in their favour, the server promptly said, "No!" The response nearly sparked an early exit, but instead we opted to share a selection of 'hot' mezze starters with a carafe of white. The wine arrived at room temperature. No cooler. And it only got warmer as the hour ticked by. The batata hara dish (a 'hot' meze) was served cold, and we asked if it could be heated, please. We were nearly finished when the server returned the plate to the table. There was no explanation or apology for the lengthy wait, nor any comment at the end about why we barely touched the dish. Overall an attractive room, nice ambience and good value, but a forgettable food experience.

   Absolutely love this place! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Every bite was a treat. Can’t wait to come back!

   Absolutely beautiful food. Fast and helpful service. Restaurant is so clean and bright. Amazing falafel, tabbouleh, cauliflower fritters, etc. Gorgeous passion fruit cocktail. Great for groups, couples or a quick drop in.

   Fantastic restaurant, amazing food and the loveliest staff. Already planning my next trip. Only downside is the bathrooms are down a few steps, so not fully accessible.

   We had a superb meal here: my second visit to Shaku Maku. We opted for mezze for two: all options were delicious. The drinks options were good too. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. A very relaxed vibe. A really lovely restaurant.
