Short ribs are excellent. Tasty appetizers and a yummy lava chocolate desert.

Went with to dinner with girlfriends on a Sunday night. Arrived on time and were seated immediately. It then took over 15 minutes for anyone to walk up to our table to bring water, let alone drinks. The restaurant was not busy or crowded. There were a number of waitstaff working. Finally a server came to tell us that our server would be with us in a bit. He at least took our drink order. Food was ordered and came out fine, but then we were never checked on again until they dropped of the check. Seriously worst service and I've eaten at the Barrington local multiple times with excellent service. I definitely will not be going to the AH location again.

The food was good but our waitress was fair. She was rushing us to order when we wanted to enjoy our drink. I don’t know if I would go back for dinner because the music was so loud it was hard to talk to people at my table. After a while it was giving me a headache and wanted to get out of there.

It was fine. It’s quite expensive, and neither the food nor the service measure up to the cost. Lots of fried foods suggest that the underlying dishes are just so-so. I hope it does well, but I think your money is better spent elsewhere.

Don’t recommend this place for a date night bc it’s way too loud. I could see it being a good choice for group drinks and light dinner. But don’t expect to have a relaxing conversation here. Food and service is good, but the music was ridiculously loud for a restaurant. The volume levels were comparable to what you’d expect in a club or bar. Not a place to relax. We spent two plus hours there and my senses were completely overloaded when we left. My wife and I rarely get a date night as we have two young kids at home, so I was disappointed.

The food was fantastic. There is plenty good to say about this restaurant, but I will leave the “cons” for your feedback.
The music in the restaurant was way too loud, it was very difficult for us to have conversation. The sashimi was cut way too thick, and the salmon nigiri was too cold (I enjoy salmon nigiri when it’s a little more room temperature, the flavor is more abundant that way). The shakou roll was our favorite roll on the menu.
