   Had plastic in my fried rice 4 times no exaggeration and the Lemmon pepper wings and with salt pepper and a cut lemon lol

   I was not a traditional form restaurant setting as I was expecting. However the food was good!

   What an interesting concept! The build your own boiled seafood "plate" is a big plastic bag filled with the seafood of your choice plus potato, broccoli, and corn in the sauce of your choice at your desired heat level. So the food is actually steamed by the sauce, and it's delicious! Choose from shrimp, crab, mussels, clams, crayfish etc, all charged by weight. My wife's pound of green mussels and my pound of shrimp were more than enough for lunch. The seafood was very good and the sauce (medium hot cajun for both of us) was really great. The corn was absolutely fantastic - perfectly cooked, and very sweet to balance the sauce. You get a bib, a pair of disposable plastic gloves that are tough enough to get through the whole meal, and plenty of napkins. At first, it seemed expensive - but decent seafood has really gone up and Shaking's prices are reasonable in today's market. It's a fine, fun meal, and we'll be back.

   Looking for a place to eat on Christmas night, we 'Googled' restaurants. ShaKing on South 10th did not disappoint! That seafood was soooo well-seasoned, delish and ample portioned! I will def go again. It was open on Christmas!

   I took my team here for a holiday dinner. The food was amazing. The service could have been better but we were having a great time with each other so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Would go back again.

   Everything about this restaurant was excellent from the food to the service to the overall price of the bill! Would definitely recommend trying it out one day!

   I’ve been ordering from shaking seafood for a year now, I never ate inside until the other day. I would describe the atmosphere as uncomfortable and weird. The scenery is terrible nothing really special about the inside. The food comes out fast but the severs are rude, you’ll ask them something and they’ll kinda cut you off while you’re speaking. Which I don’t appreciate especially while I’m ordering or asking a simple question even if you know what I’m about to ask or say. I was uncomfortable in the actual restaurant because the guys kept staring down my shirt while my boyfriend was in my company. Overall I rate the food 10/10 I rate the actual Restaurant and service 4/10. I will stick to doing Uber eats or DoorDash for this place specifically.
