What a find. Wine country experience without battling crowds or traffic from San Francisco to Sonoma or Napa. Delicious food and equally delicious wine. Lovely setting. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful setting, nice fire pits and relaxed atmosphere. Did not feel rushed at all. Felt safe as they take COVID precautions seriously.

Had a group of 4 girls and enjoyed a flight of tastings and 4 different appetizers. Wine was delicious, food was delicious but I felt the value was not. We ordered brussel sprouts that cost $9.95 and when it arrived it was in the smallest little bowl and had maybe 12 halves that were cooked down of course. We couldn’t believe it, and then the 4 stuffed figs were also $9.95. Their flatbreads were $18 and $21 which is a bit spendy. Then when we went and paid our bill, we just wanted to split it by 4 among us and they said they can only split it by 3, which is just ridiculous. Their grounds and ambiance is just beautiful nestled into the hillside, but overall I feel the value is just not there. Service was great, clean place and nice people.

The staff was very attentive. We had opportunity to speak with both the winemaker and the chef. The winery and setting are beautiful and the food and wine were delicious.

We were planning on just wine tasting and then going to downtown Walnut Creek for dinner but changed plans and decided to eat at Shadowbrook when we learned they hired chef Joshua a few months ago. Started it off with cheese curds and paired that with a tasty Pilsner on tap before jumping into the great wine selection while we enjoyed all 4 of the different Flatbread pizzas which were all outstanding, the Kobe beef sliders which were tasty and tender and and finished it off with dessert of creme brulee and cheese cake which were really well done, chef Joshua even brought by some fresh based made chocolate chip cookies to the table! We received great service from Maddie who took care of us all night. Shadowbrook is a beautiful facility that has million dollar views of Mount Diablo while the sun was setting. Great place to takes friends to for a special occasion given the beautiful grounds and facilities, it will make you feel like your in the nicest places in the wine country while not having to leave the East Bay.

LOVED IT. THE VIEWS AND WINE ARE AMAZING. HOPING THEY WILL HAVE A GLUTEN FREE OPTION FOR SNACKS. EVERYONE WE CAME IN CONTACT WITH WAS VERY NICE AND WANTING TO MAKE SURE WE WERE TAKEN CARE OF. DEFINITELY WILL RETURN SOON

We had a great experience visiting Shadowbrook for the first time over the weekend. It's right in our neighborhood, so we walked over and were surprised at how beautifully maintained the property was. It felt like we were transported directly to Napa/Sonoma! We sat outside on the patio overlooking the vineyards and Mt. Diablo.
The food is great (they recently hired a chef who did a stint at French Laundry) and they're mainly small bites which are perfect for sharing. We did the Northgate tasting, and loved all the wines, so much so that we joined the wine club before leaving. Tim, the owner and winemaker, came over and spoke with us and even gave us a tour of the barrel room. John, our server/host, was fantastic too. We can't wait to come back with friends and family. So thankful to find a nice winery, with great wines, right in our backyard in Walnut Creek! Would highly recommend visiting.
