We left. The menu wasn’t what was online and they restaurant was empty - we had requested outside and they couldn’t reserve outside. Just a mess
Hope to return often
We made this reservation because of the romantic ambiance feeling from the hotel pictures. My husband and I got dressed up and was seated in the restaurant. The restaurant was filled with families w little kids running around and the outdoor area with the cozy chairs and fire pits were occupied with kids. The food was way over priced. My husband's wine had a horrible after taste so we decided not to order. I paid for my tea and they charged me $5!!! Seriously? I'm glad the next night we found the nice romantic italian restaurant right down from the hotel. That place has ambiance and class.
It was Valentines Day and we and another couple had reserved outside tables at 6pm for dinner. We had to have one because we had a dog. They had all these great outside tables with firepits. We got there and they were all taken and there were just two plain tables left up on the patio and they were still dirty. They informed us then that you can't reserve the nice fire tables and they were all just open seating so all these people had gotten the good tables and then us and the other couple ended up at plain tables though we had reserved. The manager said that you can't reserve outside tables and whoever we talked to on the phone was wrong. It was a mess for awhile until we talked to the manager and got the tables cleaned and they brought some heaters to out tables to keep us warm. After that the wait staff was super nice and they gave us free dessert to make up for it and they were really nice. Just people should know you can't serve the outside nice fire tables.
Getting a reservation on Valentine’s Day in Sedona is not easy and this was one that had openings. They had a fancy, and spendy special menu or you could just order off of the regular menu. We ended up with short ribs which were quite good and fish tacos that were mediocre. Wine by the glass was okay and waiter was very helpful in suggesting one of the reds. Service started out attentive but as more people came in that fell apart a bit.
The food was really lacking in flavor. The menu is small and lacking options. Not worth the time or drive. Bummer!
I was really excited to try this for breakfast because it has great reviews but I was extremely let down. It’s a glorified continental breakfast for people staying at the hotel, not a restaurant. We first got lectured that there is no reservations for breakfast, like it’s our fault that the app allowed us to do so. The Bloody Mary bar was ok. Mimosa bar a joke; a bottle of champagne and orange juice but no additives is not a mimosa bar. I got biscuits and gravy for FOURTEEN DOLLARS, I was thinking dang this must be the most amazing B&G I’m ever going to have.. NOPE. The biscuits seemed as though they had been sitting out for days they were so hard and dry. I had to use a knife to pierce them and they splintered into crumbs. The sausage gravy was good. “Starbucks” coffee was so bitter and burnt it took double the normal amount of sugar to cut that bitterness out. My husband drinks black coffee and could hardly stand it. It’s open/shared seating like a cafeteria. I wish I would have just paid for the buffet ($22!!) then at least I could have chosen something else rather than choke down what we got.
We were seated at BF buffet area where they were literally kicking people out. Lady Manager (?) was rude to other customers who just started taking food at buffet. Telling them rudely that buffet has ended and she will
charged buffet price etc etc. It took a while for a server to see us, despite empty restaurant. Food was not delicious, chicken sando was bland. This Lady Manager (?) asks me if she can vacuum in the restaurant while we were eating First of all NO vacuuming is acceptable when customers are eating. Then I told her I have severe allergies to dust and dustmite. She belittled my request for her to NOT vacuum and vacuumed while we were eating. I will
give negative stars if I could.
Reservation procedure was easy. The wine was good at happy hour price, the salad and flat bread were really delicious!! Omar was an attentive and efficient server and we appreciate the fine job he did.
We were staying @ Hilton and decided to have dinner here. Food and drink s were great as was the service. We were seated in the corner next to the exterior door and a blast of cold air came in everytime it was opened. There was also a lounge singer in the lounge side but it was too loud over on the restraunt side, we had problems having a conversation. Overall dinner was good however.
We were the only people in the restaurant at 1:30pm for a late lunch . Service was awful - we were ignored . Food took forever and chicken was burnt and dry . Worst meal we have had in a long time . Would not go back
We stayed at the Hilton at Bell Rock to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. We were traveling from Ohio. The service was terrible. Our server took our drink order and then came back to take our dinner order without dropping off the drinks first. The server did not show her face again until the food was delivered. When it was delivered she did not refill drinks. She never came back. I had to flag down another server to ask for refills. Once we were done with our meals, she never cleared our plates. She literally never reappeared. Again I had to ask another server for her to come back out to deliver my check. When she can back I asked her if she had other tables as it felt like we had been left. She did not apologize. Overall very disappointed.
Excellent service and cuisine a favorite
This place was amazing! The food was about average but the ambiance and service was the best! TVs galore and a GREAT place to watch the game! Great live music too! Their happy hour is great and when they found out it was our Anniversary they gave us a free round of drinks with top shelf liquor!! Highly recommend!!
Slow service. Little attention to detail.
Good food. Nice restaurant.
Average hotel restaurant experience
Excellent food and service as always, a favorite in Sedona! Thank you
We went for the happy hour on Saturday, 14-Sep-2019 and was told by the lady bartender that "we don't have happy hour on weekends." It was clear on the wall that happy hour was "DAILY." we were charged regular price for the margarita. We left.
Service from Belle was terrific. Very low key with great eats!
Used Opentable to find a Sunday brunch. In reality it is simply a standard hotel buffet. Adequate for what it is. Disappointing compared to what's advertised here. The one shining star was the manager on duty trying her best to make the most of the experience. Thank you for the effort. But, this is not a brunch.
Great place to hang out and visit with friends and family. Good food, music, astronomy (thanks Dave) and games ie ping-pong, corn hole, and board games.
Great ambiance. Our steaks weren’t cooked correctly but the manager came and made it right. Try the drunken tots, they’re outstanding! Overall great experience but a little on the pricey side for what you get.
This is our second time there and the service, food, and atmosphere are great! While first only giving us the dinner menu, I appreciated that the wait staff was willing to provide us with a lunch menu during dinner hours when I mentioned it was the one I saw on the website. I believe the entire party ordered off that menu! I like to outdoor area with fireplaces and games and the indoor game area. We finished off the night with a game of scrabble on the giant board.
Beautiful location. Comfortable yet modern period. The service was perfect. Very attentive servers. I would go back just for the service alone
The calamari strips were excellent. However, my steak came out well done when I ordered it medium rare. My wife’s lamb was cooked perfectly however. It’s flavor was lacking
Desserts were average.
I would’ve appreciated a more eclectic menu especially with perhaps some Southwest items on it
Bad setup and food okay but not worth price. Service was not great and all around not a place to go for us again
Beware that the menu on their website and Open Table was nothing like the menu I was offered. There were no flatbreads, sandwiches or lighter fare. Only the expensive specialty items were available. I could understand if there were separate lunch and dinner menus but that is not indicated online. Three of us had fish and two of us had short ribs. Every was satisfied with the flavor and portion of the protein component. However the accompanying vegetable and potato was more of a garnish. My husband thought that they forgot to put the potato on his plate. We showed him the smudge under his fish and said that was it. My short ribs also barely had any mashed potatoes and the broccolini was no bigger than two skinny asparagus. It was very skimpy at any price. We enjoyed the meal because the family was together in a nice restaurant and the food was tasty. It was spoiled for me because I felt like it was a bait and switch with the menu and I was ripped off.
Live music on Friday night and games on the lawn makes it a very enjoyable experience!
Had a very disappointing Easter brunch. Other reviews said this was the best brunch around. In fact, it wasn’t even up to middling Hilton standards, which aren’t great. Waiter confused eggs Benedict with poached eggs, so I had to create my own eggs Benedict. I don’t recommend this restaurant for breakfast or brunch.
Easter brunch was underwhelming. Service was great but the selection of food items was sub par.
Good place our sever was a little flaky.
Disappointing dining room full of screaming children after 7.30pm so not a great start. Food poor and not worth the money charged very disappointing experience
The food and the service were both good. It was quite disappointing that the restaurant had no local wines on the menu.
First of all, there is a mistake in the system: when we arrived for breakfast I was informed that this restaurant does not take breakfast reservations. It did not make a difference for us as the restaurant was not busy and they us immediately but you should be warned of this if you are visiting at a busier time. The Opentable system allowed us to make a reservation so evidently the settings for this restaurant are not correct in the system
Besides that breakfast went well. It has a bar that is located in the space and there were plenty of people ordering Bloody Marys and a very attractive pink cocktail (I think it is the Prickly Mimosa - it's pictured on the website) at breakfast. We did not indulge (we were driving right after breakfast) but the drinks looked good. We had the breakfast buffet that has all the usual offerings and two choices - continental and full. The continental includes pastry, fruit, cereal (both hot and cold), bread, etc. The full adds choices eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and there is a nice chef named Andy making omelets. We took the full buffet. I don't know what seasonings Andy was adding to the omelet but it was better than most buffet omelets I've had. The oatmeal was also good - thick and chunky and not watery. The pancakes were medium size (so easy to control portion) and light, the bacon done medium - not completely dry and crispy but not rubbery and soft either. On the buffet there is only orange juice but there were others listed on the a la carte menu.
The staff here is very friendly and pays the right level of attention - checks in from time to time without being intrusive, and easily answers questions.
The view is as pictured on the website - out the back side of the hotel with full top to bottom windows looking over the back patio and the rocks beyond. The space for the restaurant itself is a very open floor plan that is spacious and comfortable.
A very pleasant dining experience.
Melissa our server was so sweet—after dinner, she came out and gave us blankets to keep us warm by the outdoor fires. Food was very good. Drunken tots were a must, and the fish tacos were great.
Location very convenient, service good and food was so so. Flat breads are more like ingredients on a cracker vs a flat bread. Fried chicken overdone and too much breading. Stay away from those. Wine list was pretty good, as was service
Good meal but really noisy. Attentive service. Not very much separation from bar
Okay menu, slow service.
Food was served cold, service was non existent at best
We went for Christmas dinner and really enjoyed our meals. The price was fair and the food varied and really good. They had so many bread choices it was hard to choose which one you wanted! The staff were all kind and helpful.
I've also had other meals at this restaurant and they were all equally good.
