Shabuway is a restaurant that specializes in the ancient Japanese tradition of hot pot dining, known as shabu shabu. Shabuway first got its start back in 2004 when Koji Kikura and Eiichi Mochizuki opened up their first restaurant. The name Shabuway literally means "The road to shabu shabu" as the restaurant wants guests to know what the specialty of the house is before ever looking at a menu.

Shabu shabu is essentially the Japanese version of the French fondue method of cooking. Diners select a protein and then cook it themselves in a carefully seasoned broth. Some of main dishes that diners can choose from including Angus prime beef, American Kobe beef, kurobuta Berkshire pork, Niman Ranch lamb, shrimp dumplings and a seafood medley that comes with shrimp potstickers, jump shrimp, salmon, squid and scallops. There is also a kids portion for younger diners with smaller appetites.
