Shabu Shabu Kobe is a sushi and ramen restaurant located in the heart of Manhattan. The insde of the restaurant is decorated in classic Japanese style. Diners will find the walls decorated with calligraphy as well as cherry blossoms and other Japanese icons and symbols. There is also a generous use of bamboo used throughout the restaurant to complete the aesthetic. Shabu Shabu Kobe is named after a particular type of Japanese cuisine. A shabu shabu is a hot pot with broth where guests are invited to cook their own proteins, not unlike a french fondue pot. That isn't the only kind of meal Shabu Shabu Kobe serves, though. Guests can also get a wide variety of sushi dishes, as well as classic ramen noodle bowls with ingredients like pork belly, grilled chicken and soy marinated eggs.
