Two signs in the window-
1st closed for private party
2nd thanking all for an amazing 11 years.
Place was completely dark so either private party was for the local Blind Association or second sign means they are closed.
Either way, guess they forgot to update with open table
The only reason I'm not recommending Seviche is simply that, as we arrived, we were informed that it was the last night the restaurant would be open! We've certainly enjoyed eating there over the years.
Good news: Food good; service very good.
Bad news: This restaurant's has closed effective last evening.
Went on a Tuesday so the crowd was light. However, they had only half of the Tapas on the menu available plus the one drink my wife ordered they didn't have the Gin. Again, it was a Tuesday so no excuse really. It's not like they ran out because they were busy. The food was good and our waitress was good but definitely not anxious to go back.
My mother and I went to Seviche for our once a month dinner out. The food was excellent. Carl W. our server charmed my 88 year old mother. Thank you. We were the only customers at 5:00 on a week night. I hope this was unusual because people are really missing out on a good experience. Great food. Good service.
the food was great but there seemed to be poor communication amongst staff-from cleaming the table to taking drink orders to refilling water glasses. May have been shortstaffed. This was a Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.
They were short handed server did the best they could. Ran out of silevrware frequently, slow in getting drinks, cloth napkins were dirty didn’t look like they were laundered. Poor management, ownership probably should get involved.
Too bad food was good, experience so bad will not return.
What a disappointment. The food was nicely priced but my chicken was undercooked and the waiter forgot to mention items that were sold out for the day. My chihuahua cheese bread was not substantial at all.
Our waiter was very overwhelmed and should have had extra help. The service was terrible.
Trendy music and modern ambience. Quick service and a variety of fun house cocktails.
This was a very confused restaurant experience. I kept thinking Gordon Ramsay need to get needed to get his hands on this restaurant. Are Hotel identified it as a seafood restaurant. When you get on the website and look at the menu there are four sections that are all quite desperate. There is a Seviche section and a raw section but then there are also Tapas items and then large plates. The decor appears to have a Cuban theme. The people are very nice and the service quite good. The food was also tasty. I just think they are all over the board and have not determined a well Focus point of view. We went on a Friday night and there were very few people there. The restaurants two doors down were packed. This restaurant really needs a much clearer point of view. It's a shame, they have lots to offer.
Excellent food and service. Great margaritas! Love the happy hour menu.
Everything we ordered was spot on and shareable. We ordered extra of the Tuna Tartare. The Shishito peppers were outstanding. We were there for Happy hour and the prices were right on everything! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or make a return visit.
Stopped in for dinner before the symphony. The food was delicious. The nacho chips appeared home-made and had a tasty seasoning. I had the mussels entree and the tomato-beer broth was delicious! My friend ordered the salmon with avocado, she said it was perfectly cooked--very moist and not rare. Service was attentive. The food arrived quickly since we mentioned that we were heading out to the symphony. I highly recommend Seviche for a fun dining experience!
Love Seviche! Very busy on a Friday night and the manager was pinch-hitting as server but they didn't miss a beat. As always, the fire & ice -- especially with crab -- and the tuna tartare are my favorites. You can't beat the happy hour prices for both small plates and wines.
Seviche is our choice to celebrate our special occasions. The staff always does an awesome job and the chef's are top notch. The menu changes enough to make each dinner special, with always having a couple of our go to favorites to make it feel warm and comfortable. Keep up the good work....
My husband and I took my parents there on a Friday evening. Kyle was our waiter and really is an asset to Seviche. He was helpful but not pushy. Kyle even advised us that HH was ending in case we wanted another cocktail. It was a good experience.
We had been to Seviche a few times in the past and had really enjoyed it. The menu has changed and we were disappointed in the choices as well as the quality of food we received. It is no longer on our go to list as a fun night out.
We were disappointed in our visit to Seviche. The service was great and it was a cool looking spot. However, it was a little dead for a Saturday night, and the biggest disappointment was the food. The Arepa (Confit Chicken) was very dry and the Chef Roll was sloppy and mostly just soggy rice.
Outstanding. The shrimp pico de gallo ceviche, pork empanada, arepa, cuban taco, shishito peppers, and pan con chihuahua were all excellent.
The food was overpriced! But everything else was great!
the food was awesome - very fresh and beautifully presented!
The food was delicious and the handcrafted cocktails were superb. The restaurant had a great ambiance and was perfect for date night.
Service was spotty. Initially slow though the place was not full. Ceviche was ok-more prep than fish. Drunks were excellent. We didn't stay past the apps.
Was pleasantly surprised. Waitress Christina was awesome. Food was great! Great sushi and Salmon. Would definitely go back next time in the area! Thanks
The interior seemed kind of outdated and tacky. The food wasn't that flavorful and the portions were small.
The service was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. Outside dining was fun. Drinks were affordable and pleasant. The problem was that the food was not brilliant. The flatiron steak was the hit of the meal. The mussels fine, if not memorable. The arepa was terrible. I actually sent it back-it was a leaden lump of dry dough fried. When you cut it in half, dry meal was packed inside the fried outer layer. The Cuban taco was also ienedible- it was drowned in strong mustard.
We ate here before going to see a show at the Benedum. Outstanding, friendly service. The happy hour menu was great! Three of us had appetizers, drinks and shared dessert for under $100. I will be back.
Food was so good but the next morning I was so sick all day. I had the hot foods not the raw that they serve but I am not sure if there was some cross contamination. So just be careful with certain foods. Not sure if I personally will be able to go back.
Fantastic, authentic Cuban inspired food!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent dinner! High-top table next to open windows afforded great people-watching. The fire & ice is always a favorite and the server recommended it with scallops which was fabulous. The tuna tartare as to die for, with a stunning presentation. Also loved the pork empanadas. Terrific place to try lots of small plates.
Food and service were great. We will go there again.
Great food!!
The server was amazing and the food was good! Did not leave feeling stuffed though for the cost.
The menu changes constantly, and every change is consistently worse. The menu with the choose your own seviche was the best, and the food and service have declined consistently since then
This was our first dining experience at Seviche. Our server was very helpful and friendly in explaining the menu and portion sizes as we had no idea what to expect. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. We especially enjoyed the pan seared shrimp. The guacamole and chips were tasty as well. The salsa seviche with the lumb crab meat was excellent. The atmosphere was lively as was the entire street around the restaurant. The music was a bit too loud at first making it difficult to hear each other but then the DJ turned it down to a manageable level. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to our more adventurous older friends or to younger adults.
Good food but too loud. Should have more vegetarian & fish options
We had a terrible meal & a horrible waitress. I'm 50 & NEVER complain but did speak to the manager who compt our meal. Would not recommend.
We have eaten there twice.... never again. Menu was limited and nacho heavy. Took 1/2 an hour to be served a draft beer.. they ran out of wine glasses... list goes on. No decaf coffee..
