   Food was great but service was very bad. Although courteous, our waitstaff was very slow and not attentive. I think the restaurant was understaffed. We waited forever for initial service, then for our appetizer and even longer for our entree. Then even longer for final service. We had initially considered ordering dessert then elected not to. It took forever for our waitress to bring our check. While the food was delicious, we will not be back.

   Great experience, it’s our new favorite local place, my husband liked it so much when we tried it for the first time a couple months ago he requested to have his birthday dinner here, that’s why we were there tonight, although we would love a few additional food options, overall the food and drinks are great, and we will definitely be back soon!

   Main point: Think I came on the wrong night. We waited 30 minutes to get a round of drinks to our table and over an hour to receive our food order. Our server rarely checked on us due to being stretched thin. Came on a Friday and unknowingly had dinner with a live band playing. The band was absurdly loud despite having sat in the back room. The bar area was full of drunk people dancing, and the whole restaurant (bar, kitchen, and waitstaff) was severely understaffed. I took this place to have better ambiance, and was unaware the bar would be so packed from a live band. The braised short rib I ordered but also drier than expected, and I wasn’t a fan of the horseradish crema they drizzled all over the polenta and short rib.

   I made a reservation for 3:00 on this site for 3:00 pm. Arrived and they said that they only had the buffet for $55 a person, even though when I made the reservation I chose to order from a regular menu. Their response was “oh yeah that’s wrong” but come back in 90 minutes. This was Christmas Day!! Then the woman who makes reservations said “this is news to me.” They didn’t even offer us drinks while we wait, nothing! It was so crazy how they reacted to a fairly major mistake.

   Christmas Eve dinner. Only a handful of overworked staff. Everything took forever. Getting seated. Drink service. Entrees. The waitperson was nice and kind but just overworked. I blame this on the management.

    Stay away when they have live music usually on weekends if you plan to converse with friends at the table. All wall surfaces are hard along with the flooring, so your ears will be ringing. I suggest using a clear barrier between the stage and audience to lessen the decibel level. Think jets at the airport. Like the outside when weather permits to enjoy the Koi pond setting.
