Service was impeccable, food was delicious, especially the burger and the scallops! Dessert was sublime
Excellent service and food very unique and delicious
Beautiful soaring space, excellent food, and solicitous service.
Good food but pricey. (Most likely due to location )
Too salty, too spicy on the sprouts, portions too small
I would recommend Seventh & Dolores as the food and drinks are great, the ambiance is chic, but the service was not. Our server spilled water on me and food twice on my friends at dinner. Instead of being apologetic, he was sarcastic and and one point a bit perverse. That is really why I had to give the rating I did. I understand spills, but not inappropriate behavior. Everyone else in the restaurant staff was lovely.
The restaurant has a nice lively vibe and the food is outstanding. My wife had a small filet and I had the scallops and both were great. The three cream whipped potatoes are also excellent and topped off with the best carrot cake I’ve eaten. A bit pricey, but I highly recommend this restaurant. Bon apetit!
Our waiter (Bradley?) was very engaging and knowledgeable. The steaks were delicious, as were the desserts, wine, etc. It was a memorable meal.
Love this place! The food is terrific and they treat you wonderfully!
Very nice ambiance and service. The food is way overpriced. Everything we had was good but I have had just as good food at other restaurants for a lot less. Don’t waste your time and money.
This was our second time dining here and again, it was top-notch. The quality is excellent along with the service. The ambiance is wonderful however this is not a place that you can whisper. The noise level is to be considered. That aside, it’s a wonderful establishment.
Food and service one of the best in Monterey area. Great ambiance.
Drinks and Service was exceptional. Food was over seasoned and over spiced masking the quality of the food. Overpriced. Disappointed.
Wonderful staff! Amazing meal!
Nice steaks, fine service and a cool location for a restaurant...
This is our second time coming here since they opened and love it
The service was outstanding but the food was extremely average.
Excellent food and our waiter was amazing.
Wonderful dining experience start to finish. Excellent at all levels.
Always excellent food. Wines and cocktails are ridiculously overpriced. On this occasion our waiter was not attentive at all — we even had to pour our own wine!
Not what we expected for the buck. The steak can be better as far as flavor. The ambiance was great as well as the cheese plate and dessert. But the main course wasn’t satisfying for the amount of money we paid.
Birthday dinner for our boy! Perfect place to celebrate ❤️
Great atmosphere and service. Food was amazing!
We have been going to Seventh and Dolores since it opened. And, we have always enjoyed it. But, recently, they have made some changes and the outcome is not great. First, they have changed their menu and not for the better. They had a really great hamburger and took it off the menu--probably to make more $$$. Secondly, the quality of their meat is not what it was even 4-6 weeks ago. My steak was awful--it was overcooked, dry and not marbled. Our side dish was also drug and poorly cooked. Overall, it sucked...we are sad because the service is great and the atmosphere is too.
Good friends and good food!
First time at Seventh & Dolores was an amazing experience. Beautiful modern light restaurant, extremely pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service was superb! Will go again for sure!
Great food great service in an open “see and be seen” restaurant. A favorite!
We are locals who were celebrating our Daughter’s birthday. Having had drinks here previously, this restaurant was her choice. It is a modern and attractive place. The service was exemplary! The downside was the food...appetizers were passable with the tuna tarter being the best. The entrees were not passable and expensive. The beef rib steak at 117.50 was full of gristle! For that price,it should not have been full of gristle. Hard to cut, impossible to eat about 30% of it. The petite filet was very tender, but lacked flavor. The lamb was also hard to cut and chew. It lacked flavor as well, which is near impossible with lamb. The scallops were the best option. The sides varied quite a bit. We all found the triple creme potatoes to be very tasty. The eggplant as well. The lobster Mac and cheese was terrible. Looked like Kraft instant and the lobster tasted canned and was strong. The wine list is extensive and expensive with very few offerings under 100.00 . Our wine was only 115.00 and would have been good if it had about 6 hours to breathe. The server knew this wine and did decant it immediately ,but it needed more than 15 minutes to breathe. The beignets were absolutely delicious! So, for a $600.00 dinner, we were above disappointed! We will not consider this restaurant again.
We loved it last year. Not the same
Spectacular in every aspect of the dining experience
The food was terrible and tasteless. We will never eat there again. We had a window seat and was enjoying the sun until two white women came and sit at a table next to us and told waitress to close the blinds. The waitress never ask us if it was ok to close the blind. I feel it was about the color of the skin.
Great food & location. Open and airy, light & bright. Service was excellent.
Great food, excellent bar, lovely ambience, nice wine list, but wines are too high a multiple of retail. If you want fine wine, consider bringing your own bottle.
Social Hour was not very social.... onion strings were extremely salty.....good oyster selection though....still would not recommend for the social hour
Maybe we ordered wrong. Not as good as last year
Liked the food a lot. Very different than other steakhouses and quite delicious. Steak was just a tad overcooked. Server asked if we wanted another one but we said it’s ok. Will come back.
Great place! We really love our light lunch in the beautiful patio. Everything was tasty! New chef is doing great job!
