We loved our dinner at Seven. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but it was early in the evening and the entire place was cozy and had a great atmosphere. We will definitely return. Our food was delicious and the service better than expected.
We have eaten at seven many times, but this took the cake! WE had a rez, and we stood in the doorway for 10-15 mins. 3 people noticed us, but didnt say a word to us or cast us a smile. We moved into the bar area, where the workers tend to congregate. Still nothing! Finally, a barmaid was getting a drink for someone and I asked where to checkin. Told her we had res. She said we dont have a table for 3. We were mad and ready to leave, when another woman showed up and sat us across the hall from the place, in a mostly unused room. one other couple was there, and we felt strange, but we stayed. The food was mediocre, as expected, and it took us more than 45 mins. to get food.
My book club dined there, and the food was terrific.
My husband and I went there on a weekday, and the food was bland and boring.
Won't be back for lunch.
Food was very good. The wait staff was friendly, helpful.
My daughter enjoyed her birthday luncheon.
We'll definitely be back!
Birthday Dinner was Outstanding! Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Restaurant was empty, which was surprising considering the quality of the food. It was great though for our generous size party celebrating my daughters birthday. Everyone was treated great and service was excellent!
Our server Benjamin made our luncheon so much fun. The food was outstanding. Try their Chicken Tortilla Soup. Absolutely delicious and the best I have ever tasted.
It was wonderful. Will definitely return!!
My family and I went to Seven on Sunday (all ten of us) for a combo birthday brunch. Hands down one of the most amazing brunches I’ve ever experienced!! The food was not only delicious but beautiful! Our waiter (I forgot his name 😬) was fantastic…and, my family can be a lot to say the least 😂. It will be a go to favorite spot for now on!! And, I love supporting local!!
Seven had a great atmosphere and all of the food was excellent. The staff was very accomodating and attentive.
Wanted to go somewhere special on my birthday with outdoor dining. The courtyard was perfect. .So beautiful & tranquil. Loved the idea that restaurant has dishes from STL restaurants from the past. Had great service by Katherine/Katie, our waitress.
The courtyard setting is lovely and tables were nicely spaced. The food didn’t measure up to the setting. The Busch’s Grove salad was described as having iceberg and romaine but it was just lots of romaine. When we asked for rolls, we were told they didn’t have any and that the chef only made bread to order early in the morning. We requested iced coffee but received iced tea instead. That is not unusual but we weren’t given the option of a glass of ice with coffee.
I had a beautiful brunch for my birthday outdoors on the terrace. There was a great breeze and gorgeous greenery.
First time dining at Seven. Had the brunch and the food was very good. Our server, Jamie, made the experience an excellent one.
Service was very slow. We had to get up from our table to find someone to pay.
Our server was very nice, but absent for long periods of time.
We’ll give it another try, because we have had good food and better service in the past.
I think thaT WE WERE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FOOD THAT NIGHT.
I HAVE EATEN AT SEVENS BEFORE AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD.
THIS TIME OUR CRAB CAKES CAME BURNED AND UNEATABLE.
WE COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT THEY WERE EVEN SERVED.
Great brunch atmosphere. We had the shrimp and grits and they was fantastic! I appreciate being able to eat outside on the patio. However, it was a bit hot even though they had fans. There was only 1 waitress who was working about 5 tables but she was still as attentive as she could be. It was a great experience.
Great patio. Fun and exciting menu
Excellent food, great service. Will definitely come back!
Relaxing and attractive patio with delicious food for dinner.
We came for a celebration dinner before our daughter headed in to have her first baby. The apps were good, we ordered steaks and two were undercooked needing to be sent back. Waiter spent little time at table, seemed apathetic, and often needed reminders to bring things (drinks) we had ordered. It wasn’t really busy. The other waitress seemed to be doing a much better job. Food took a long time to come out. Bread pudding was delicious. This could be a great spot if more attention was spent on service.
We had a lovely dinner outside on the back patio. Our server was excellent! She was personable, professional, and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I plan on going again soon!
The courtyard at Seven was perfect for outdoor dining on a holiday weekend. The food was amazing and Jamie, our Server, was outstanding.
That was our first visit and already can't wait to come back.
Congrats to Joe Cramer and your wonderful staff . . . keep up the great work!!!
The waiter, bartender, and manager were all amazing. We will be back!
Friendly, attentive service;delicious food with vegan options 🙌;lovely, tranquil outdoor courtyard
Service was very good after a long wait to be seated. Food was good but a very small and limited menu. Pricing was very reasonable.
To be honest the quality of the food was beyond expectations and if you don't get the bread pudding your missing out. Great food and compliments to the two chefs in the kitchen.
Excellent Service. My only little critque of the Russ's Salad that they are reproducing from Busch's Grove, is the there could have been more shrimp and they should not have been so spicey. Joe was amazing and was very accomodating and very attentive. With the shortage of help these days, Joe and his Team did not miss a beat. Highly recommend. They should take down the Valet Parking sign at the front door, or indicate that Valet is not currently offered.
Great Food & Service. The Bread Pudding Is To Die For
The food was awesome and had great service. We were even walked to our car after. Great experience!
We had a great experience experiencing Seven for a work lunch with 4 ladies.
The food was delicious.
The server/ bartender did a good job but did appear to be alone with the exception of a manager. There was a lag in getting drinks, water and food out.We were not in a hurry this time so it worked out.
Food was excellent. Service was very spotty. Started out fine, but once entrees were served our server disappeared- took too long to get her back to place a dessert order. Then we waited 30 minutes for dessert to be served, by the manager, no explanation or apology for delay. Server never asked if we wanted drink refills. Restaurant did not appear to be full, so unclear why service fell off.
This was our first visit to Seven, and we'll be back! The food was very good! My husband enjoyed the salmon, while I had the tenderloin sandwich, whic was very good! As we entered the restaurant, the manger warned us that a wedding party was coming in an hour later. We thanked him and sat down for our meal. Our waitress was ok, but fairly inattentive. We received our food about 35-45 minutes after ordering, which was strange, because there was only us and two other couples, both of who had already eaten. The wedding party started to arrive before our food did, and were they loud!!! This was only a couple dozen of them, but all we wanted to do was leave to avoid the noise! Also, there was no social distancing or masks with this group, which made us very uncomfortable!
This was a great place for a burger. The food was very good, the service was slow but very friendly. We sat in the courtyard, which was lovely. Well go back.
Not enough servers although they were very friendly.
Need to modernize!
I had never heard of this place before. It was my 32nd birthday on Saturday & so many places were booked for 9 people. When I searched on open table, I found this place. Was not disappointed at all! Would probably go back too ...food was delicious!!
My family had a last-minute announcement that required a celebration. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and very personable. We had a young eater with us and he received great conversation with our waitress and a cookie. Thank you for making our Graduate =- acceptance dinner to UGA a very WONDERFUL NIGHT!
We had great time we enjoyed my birthday party! Food was outstanding!!! The service was outstanding too!
We enjoyed a glass of wine in the bar on Saturday night and then cam back for brunch on Sunday. The service was outstanding as well as the food!! They did an excellent job with social distancing and everyone felt very comfortable.
We loved our fun dinner under the tent. It was really fun except it was a little cold. We thought the corkage fee was REALLY high.
The food was very good . The restaurant was cold and service was fare .
