and enjoy and embrace who we are. Williamsburg has been known as a neighborhood where one can express their passion and artistic freedom. Toby Moskovits, the owner of The Williamsburg Hotel, has been a front-runner in that development and has found a kindred spirit in the entrepreneurial Chef Melissa. Bringing her to the table exemplifies what can happen when two like-minded women come together and create a restaurant that is all about bonding over food and dreams.
This tea used to be much better. The portions are tiny now and the service was terrible. They forgot one of our teas, left out multiple items on the tray, and did not walk us through the tray. Later in the meal they became extremely attentive but overall this has gone way down from the Harvey one year ago.
Had a business dinner at the seven seeds restaurant on 1st October. I ordered the vegetarian Garden burger but was in fact served a meat burger and when I calmly returned the burger explaining that I have been served a meat burger instead of a vegetarian burger, the server was unapologetic and unconcerned with the error. She simply said she would get me another one. At the end of the meal, we were charged for my meal and when my colleague questioned the charge, the server simply said ‘well she got the right burger in the end didn’t she’? As a 30 year veteran vegetarian due to ethical reasons, being served a meat burger is very significant. Fortunately I didn’t eat any of it as I suspected it was meat and a colleague of mine had to taste it to confirm. Serving a meat burger to a vegetarian is one thing but being unapologetic when the error was pointed out something else… the rest of the groups food was ok but due to this incident, I doubt we will be returning any time soon.
the previous menu was much better................................:
Would go back again for sure!! Everything was fantastic!
The food and atmosphere were great. Our server Zach was awesome- very kind and helpful!
Live jazz in a fun atmosphere. They also serve high tea!
Although this is in a hotel the place is very pleasantly decorated and the food and service are excellent. The Mediterranean food is inventive and very tasty with lots of za'tar and spices. The dishes are easy to share.
The food was superb! Vegetarian and pescatarian friendly. Great wine list and nice craft cocktails.
Very upscale ambiance. Open and airy. Perfect place for business or your special moments.
I loved brunch here. Our server was very helpful and fun to talk to. Great service!
Loved the service. Great spot for an intimate birthday dinner.
Excellent food and great spot to meetup. We enjoyed this place and will be going back soon.
Lunch menu was not made public online and bears no resemblance of the Mediterranean dinner menu that was advertised.
Few tables occupied. The chef seems to think a Spice rubs replaced the need for a sauce. It does NOT!
food was amazingly delicious!!! Must go. Great ambiance.
Cute spot, would have been nice if there was more of an atmosphere though. Went for a 7:30pm dinner on Friday and the place was almost empty, maybe it picks up later in the night. Food and drinks were good, make sure you check out the rooftop after dinner.
The food was amazing! Our server, Zack was the best! He made all the right suggestions.
loud rap music in a cool setting
I loved the variety in the Williamsburg breakfast AND it was all delicious.
The sandwiches were dull. The pastries were overly sweet. All I could taste was sugar, sugar and more sugar. The High Tea experience was boring. They should learn from Harrods how to do it right.
Went for afternoon tea and had a very nice time. Loved the atmosphere and especially the jazz band playing! The tea could have included a little more substantial food rather than just pastries.
Service was horrendous! We waited 50 minutes for our tea service that realistically only needed to be plated. They didn’t even check on us during that time. I wouldn’t go back.
Great food and drinks
Perfect for a girls night
I LOVED the entire experience!!!! I came with friends for a birthday celebration. The service from our waitress was very good. She was friendly, had a great knowledge of the menu and was very attentive. The food was DELICIOUS!!!
The afternoon tea was fabulous, I look forward to coming back again soon!
Server was very pleasant and was very accommodating - we loved her! Restaurant seemed as though they were incredibly low staffed - we waited 45 mins for our food (tea service) and 10 minutes for change from our check.
Perfect evening. Delicious food and superb atmosphere. Excellent choice for a special occasion. Cocktails are amazing
Great restaurant in the heart of Williamsburg. Would definitely go again and recommend.
A fantastic place for lunch and dinner with great service and excellent food. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, friendly and fresh. The vibrant music and bar is also very nice. The have a good selection of food, drinks and deserts with prices that are reasonable and gives a lot of value for money. I can really recommend this place for business and pleasure.
Has potential to be a great spot. Too many other options to go back.
The setting is well done and food is really good. Only issue: the team is clearly understaffed and service suffers from it despite the best effort of the staff...It was very slow to get the food out of the kitchen and table services was way too light for a restaurant of this standing.
We attended Williamsburg Hotel for high tea as a group of 8. The manager was very hands on assisting in the slight issues that came up. The service of the bartender and waiter was very customer service oriented more so given that it is located in a hotel and they mainly serve hotel guests. Ideally would have liked more of a balance of savory to sweet items but everything was delicious. The teas were miraculous and can’t wait to look up where they’re from. I am definitely coming back on more friend dates.
Awesome girls date for high tea I would absolutely return for a date night as well
Our reservation was for 5:00; we were planning to have High Tea (which ended at 6:00). We got there and were told high tea was over. We waited 30 minutes for the drinks we ordered to arrive at our table, and were finally allowed to order food at 6:00. While the food and drinks were delicious, the wait was very long for anything to arrive at our table.
Great atmosphere, awesome service and amazing food and tea. Jenti was great and so attentive. I will be going again and next time sooner cause I missed the live jazz music that being playing in the lounge area. Most definitely recommend the Harvey to my friends.
Went with a friend for high tea I had a travel zoo which was a great value. The tea pots & cups are really cute & colorful. They had live jazz music playing which is a bonus. Service was okay I asked for milk & honey for my tea & server said be right back but never brought.
The room is nice, the tea is good in charming pots and cups. The food served with the tea was to heavily skewed to sweet for us. We would have enjoyed more canapes/tea sandwiches and 1 tier of sweets. But that’s our taste. If you have a sweet tooth it’s perfect. It’s a good weekend afternoon date.
Our high tea was well presented and food was good quality. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, sandwiches and pastries are small but add to a good amount so go with an appetite. If you are not hungry, all those options also come a la carte. Tea is served in colorful individual teapots, very charming!
I recommend delicious food 👌🏻
Took our daughter here for high tea for her 6th birthday. A bit too hip for a little kid, so that’s on us. But the service was professional, sweet and genuine and the food was yummy. Compared to other high tea places in the city, the price was good for the quality and amount of food they serve. We were there around 5pm and they let us order from the bar menu too, which was a very tasty. The high tea is about 80% sweet to 20% savory, so we were glad to have bar menu items (chicken croquettes, antipasti and fries were esp yummy) to choose from, as well. Our server was new and so cute and nice that I found her afterward to thank her. They also put a candle in a cake and sang happy bday to our kid, when I bet that’s not the norm there! The space is beautiful. On this particular Friday night, 5pm was quiet (though many more were in the bar area) so it did feel a little empty. We didn’t mind though and they let us spread out. I don’t go into Williamsburg often (this place is not super accessible by train) and I sometimes assume there will be attitude. Not here! Probably one benefit of being in a hotel where they are used to all kinds of people and families.
