Seven Hills is a great place to celebrate and to have a great dinner with great ambiance and service. I would recommend this place to anyone when in the city. When we come to the city we always come to Seven Hills.
Quality of food is high and authentic. located in a very nice area. Atmosphere is very romantic. My husband and I came her for his birthday and everything from the food to service was amazing.

a bit pricey but overall very satisfying. we enjoyed our dinner. several vegetarian options (though not really for vegan). food and wine were both very good. service was impeccable. the dessert options are a bit limited - would have been great if there were something lighter or more fruity after meal, in addition to the dairy-heavy panna cotta, chocolate budino and affogato.

We were surprised with the location change and all four of us agreed we liked the old location better. Quite a bit noisier. And for the first time, the service was good but not great, also, the menu seemed a bit more limited than in the past. Maybe just getting used to the new location.
It was a very good experience. Our only comment will be towards the service. For some reason our server was not kind. We mentioned several times that it was the birthday of one of the attendees and he ignored us. Other tables celebrated their birthdays with a small recognition but our server ignored us. My sister felt very sad because his son was ignored.

I had a very special and important dinner this evening at seven hills and it was absolutely wonderful. The team was very patient with our group which moves a bit slowly so thank you for that and the fabulous food and ambiance.
We went with friend from Australia. Our first visit to 7 hills two years ago was amazing. This one, so so.
We had not ben to Seven Hills in a few years. The food continues to be outstanding and upscale without being precious. The new location is a bit more spacious allowing for private conversations not overheard by people at tables on either side.
And the staff is expert without being officious or cloying. A very enjoyable place to spend an evening.

The new location is exceptional! Pasta is a must, as well as the bread.
Maybe my expectations were too high. The SF pasta baselines are Flour & Water, Contagna, and Locanda in my opinion. Seven Hills pasta didn’t reach this baseline unfortunately, again, in my opinion. The special truffle tortellini was over cooked (not al dente) and the special appetizer of beef tartare missed the mark without an egg yolk but flavorful. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was nice. I’d try again in the future if in the neighborhood.

The pastas were so great as always and the service was awesome! They even helped me create a beautiful birthday surprise for my boyfriend. It’s our second visit. Will definitely come again soon! (Maccheroncelli is our all time favorite)

My friend loved it but I was just so-so after my 3 trips to Italy in the last 30 months.
Chicory salad was very tasty. Portion on the pasta I got was very small. Flavors were okay. Service was terrific. Used to be the location of luella, an old favorite of mine that I returned to many times. I probably won't be back here. I'm sure my friend will recommend it but I wouldn't.
New space as they have moved- lots of room and the food was still spectacular. Great service.

Amazing pasta! We ordered two pasta dishes and contemplated ordering a 3rd because they were THAT good. Great date spot with incredible dishes - emphasis on local produce and classic flavors.
i liked the old space better but we spoke to someone and they are trying to figure out a way to make the decor better.
The duck liver pate and the Truffle Pasta were our two favorite dishes. We also had 2 salads and the meatball appetizer All were wonderful.
I love the new space, its very warm and inviting.
The food was so fresh and tasty. Most of the dishes we had were simple which meant they needed to be executed perfectly - and they were. The ingredients used were clearly very fresh and I loved that there were some night of specials. As a vegetarian, I had options, which I always appreciate. The service was attentive and wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great service and delicious food! Pasta was amazing!
We did like the food, but the ambience is not what you would expect from a recently opened new space. There is no warmth to the space. Lighting does not enhance the space. We had not been there before and I am not sure what look the are intending, but they really should rethink the look and design for food that deserves a lot better.
