Valentine’s Day Dinner
The food was great and super fresh. The service was outstanding as well. Will definitely go again!!
A convenient place on W 72nd Street below a neighborhood theater. Food is good, but not gourmet variety as is the service and ambiance. Noise is minimal except when the theater has a show upstairs. Prices reflect the cost of the real estate rental rather than quality per se. A reasonable neighborhood place.
It's a pleasure to have such a delicious and friendly neighborhood restaurant in which diners can actually hold a conversation.
Basic Middle Eastern foot with great menu with lots of options. Service was fine, too. Easy to get in and out so its one of our go-to restaurants for concerts at Lincoln Center. All things considered, good value for the money.
Seven Hills is a wonderful place for a quick bite before an event at the Beacon theater or if you’re in the mood for delicious Mediterranean food.
I had falafel with hummus and it was very tasty especially with the Turkish bread that’s served with all dinners.
Excellent service and food was great. The only downside was the regular coffee which did not seem fresh. We go there whenever we go to the Beacon Theater and will continue to do so.
It was an outstanding experience! I am Turkish and it was the best Turkish-Greek food i've ever had in NYC. We had grilled octopus(tender and juicy), mix mezze plater was worth to try. We had seabass and lamb chop(OMG those cooked so well and it was delicious!) They have a wide selection of wine and we had one of their very special turkish wine Corvus.. it was a bit pricey but it was worth it! Wait staff was very attented and friendly. Definitely ask them about their recommendation they know what is best! We'll definitely come back again soon!
Had a nice time and the food was very good. Would definitely go there again.
Delightful Turkish restaurant in top residential location. Spotless throughout and a charming atmosphere. First class up to the minute service and excellent selection. Don’t miss the lamb chops!! Also off the main tourist grid so very peaceful.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. I am Turkish and I am always in search of a great Turkish restaurant. Food was as good as my mom used to make. You will not be disappointed.
Chris Tomlin concert at the Beacon Theatre
My wife was so please with the food. Definitely going back.
One of the finest restaurants on the upper west side. Truly a hidden gem.
Excellent food. Great mezze choices everything tastes perfect. Friendly waitress and appealing interior.
One of our absolute favorite restaurants in Manhattan. The service is always superb, and the food is exceptional.
Great evening all-around. Food ... service ... vibe. A winner!
Excellent food and service.... as always.
One of our go-to restaurants when we have people visit us.
I chose this place because of its proximity to the Triad theater, where we had general admission tickets to "Forbidden Broadway." Having now discovered it, I will definitely return, as a destination in itself. I highly recommend the babaghanoush, they make an outstanding version of this eggplant dip, served with Turkish bread. I also can't wait to return to enjoy their beef dumplings. The staff was so accommodating, taking photos of us to commemorate our Thanksgiving anniversary.
We went to Seven Hills before a show at the Beacon-- the location is nearby, so we decided to give it a chance. We were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the grilled Octopus for an appetizer and it was excellent!! The food was awesome. We will definitely go back before the next show we see at the Beacon!!
Quiet, neighborhood restaurant. Food is good, fresh salads and a good asdortment of cold and hot dishes. I would recommend this place.
Our meal was delightful. We would give our appetizers (liver cubes and sigara borek) and dessert (almond pudding) five stars, and our entrees (lamb chops and lamb kebab) four stars: the meats were nicely done, while the salad and rice that came with the entrees were run-of-the-mill. The menu does offer more interesting salads. The Turkish wine was quite pleasant. Service was prompt and friendly. The room has that wonderful, relaxed air of a neighborhood favorite. Cost was very reasonable. We look forward to returning on our next visit to New York.
We received very personable and personalized service from the outstanding staff. The food was fresh and delish. Even the teenager in our group dared to try new things by the the staff and took on filleting a whole fish for her diner. You can't go wrong by selecting this restaurant for a night out with friends and family.
Food and service were very good.
There were too many people packed in on a Saturday night.
It was noisy and people had to move chairs for people at neighboring tables to get into their seats.
Great food, ambience and service.
Great meal, great service. Excellent menu. I had fresh fish and hummus and my husband loved his marinated chicken and rice. Over all 10/10
Food for three of the party came. Over ten minutes later food for the remaining four was brought. Lamb on two plates was raw. They were sent back. One was made well done, the other not completely cooked yet, with 1/3 less lamb on the plate. It was sent back again and returned charred so as to be inedible. Two plates had raw chicken. The manager was singularly unhelpful. We would certainly never return and would try to dissuade any of our friends from subjecting themselves to such an unpleasant (and inedible) meal.
Nice quiet place with very good food and service. Gyro with rice was delicious. The combo plate of appetizers was very good. Thank you.
We picked this restaurant because it was close to the Theater that we were attending. We were more than pleasantly surprised to have an incredible meal with some of the most wonderful flavors to the entrées. We highly recommend this restaurant and will return ourselves the next time we’re in the area
great service and food. mostly Turkish menu and if you like lamb meat then you will find a lot to choose from. also some chicken and fish to choose from. appetizers are somewhat small for the price but very tasty. definitely recommend it!
Perfect for a last minute date! Food, drinks and service were amazing!
Always reliable. Very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and good Turkish wine. I never miss the mixed meze plate (the bread was just out of the oven fresh!)
Food is excellent and the service is outstanding - a neighborhood gem!
Lovely staff. We enjoyed all the dishes. The chocolate soufflé dessert, however, wasn’t up to the standard of the delicious starters & entrees.
Delicious and varied menu with hospitable wait staff. One of the few places in NY that I order grilled octopus which is served with grilled tomatoes and onion (appetizer) and I adore the lamb kebab served with rice and tasty salad. The portions are plentiful and I have been known to take some home for next days lunch. My friends enjoy the fishes.
Great service, fantastic food... def try the octopus as an appetizer... terrific ambiance!!!
We were pleasantly impressed with Seven Hills...actually, our friends went to the wrong restaurant at first. They went to 8th Hill and were relieved when we told them to join us at 7th Hill (the pricing is much lower at 7th Hill!!) The lamb kebabs were perfectly seasoned and cooked at the right temperature. Service and atmosphere perfect for a casual dinner with friends that doesn’t sacrifice good food and good service and doesn’t rob you with NY pricing....I highly recommend 7th Hill....
We received a warm welcome and were escorted to our table. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We shared the grilled octopus appetizer (seriously, you must try) and had the lamb kabob for our main. The lamb was seasoned perfectly and served with salad and rice. A lovely dinner.
