   I made a reservation for 6 people on a Tuesday evening. We were in Pasadena for the film festival and wanted a place to grab bites and drinks before we walked to the theatre. Around 15 more of our friends showed up unexpectedly (because you know, LA). And we basically filled up a huge portion of the nearly-empty restaurant. Instead of the hosts, other waiters and managers going out of their way to help us get more seats and set more tables, we were chastised for taking care of everyone ourselves (by getting more seats, etc.). Super disappointing, since the food was not that great to begin with.

   Good pizza and excellent large Insalata. Please serve lemon zest with the espresso. Would love recipe for the lemon torta dessert. Cafe Americano was very good.

   We came to Settebello because this place was recommended by a friend who is actually Italian. That's saying a lot! We loved the natural ingredients, the brick oven and the exceptional service that we received (there weren't many customers during lunch on a Friday when we went, so lucky us). One of our employees stated that the pizza dough is just like naan, which is so true in the best way -- fluffy and light, yet perfect for holding up the ingredients on the pizza. The cocktails were great too, and there's nothing bad that I can say about our visit!

   This a great spot for before the Pasadena Playhouse theatre! We were served in a timely manner and the food was great....Never disapoints!

    The pizza is very good because the ingredients are fresh and good. However, like often happens here, they leave the pizza waiting for some minutes before getting to your table and that makes the pizza soggy and a little chewy. It should be there on your table just after it leaves the oven and that makes the pizza tasting sooo better. Overall the place is great and I like it and I will come back for sure !
