We arrived and were seated at an outside high top. Which was great. The server came and asked us what we wanted immediately. We had no time to check the menu but also asked for a second one so we both could look. He was visibly annoyed and dropped one and left. He just had no interest in serving us. It was disappointing. He seemed very annoyed but decidedly delightful to the other tables around us. We both work in the industry and are genuinely good to our fellow industry members. It was our first time and honestly disappointing. Even the guy running the food out seemed annoyed to be there, especially when we asked for napkins. Because, ya know, food. Strange and off-putting.

Hi Patricia, Thank you for the feedback and I'm terribly sorry to hear about this lack of service. We strive very hard to have an every guest mentality, but we clearly missed the mark here. No one should have that experience with us at Service Bar and I'm so sorry to hear that our staff made you feel anything less than fabulous. New favorite bar in DC. Cocktails are top notch but the ambience is chill. Food is simple but amazing; I’m a southerner and the fried chicken passed my test. Servers and vibe all top notch. Great people watching if you sit outside. Absolutely love this place. Best bar in DC

I reserved a table for 6 people in the outdoor area, which was covered and heated. It rained on this occasion, so we were grateful for both features! The bar doesn't do indoor reservations, I think due to limited space inside. I had a great time overall, with good service, food, and drink. I'm very grateful to the staff here for an excellent experience, and we will most certainly be back.

We stumbled upon this place on our first visit to DC last year. We loved it so much we knew we had to stop by again. So pleased with our service, drinks and food. This place is gem!

Service was great, got seated immediately and drinks came out quickly! Favorite cocktail was the semester abroad! Really delicious cocktails!
