The food is very oily and not too many options. Wouldn’t go back. Seemed pretty crowded also
Food is ok. Service was good and felt comfortable dining during Covid.
I was really excited to see the decorations for December, but unfortunately I visited while they must have been changing themes. Sadly, I didn’t even get the full effects of the old theme. Really there was no theme, but some of the leftover silver honeycombs on the ceiling.
I loved it, the decor is so beautiful. Delicious beautiful menu, equally beautiful cocktails and excellent service
Generally love Serra, but very disappointed in the Bee theme. Especially this late in fall, when eveywhere else is decorated for Christmas/winter. The bee theme feels very summery. THe food was really poor quality as well. Arancini tasted like plastic and the butternut pasta was nearly inedible.
My main issue was the food. We had ordered three food items and out of the three I only ate 1. The calamari is really good and well made. It had the perfect crispness, I was surprised we wasn’t given any kind of sauce to go with it but it was pretty good. Now the rice cheese balls are horrendous. It tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for a very long time. I felt like I can taste the box it was in. Second we ordered the supposedly roasted pork with veggies on the side. The veggies first of all look like it came out a bag. Second the pork didn’t have no flavor at all it was really sad. Lastly the presentation was not selling it to me at all. I usually don’t like writing bad reviews but this one was bad. I was really excited to go but now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It was disappointing.
Really great dining experience here! Was pleasantly surprised by the comprensible and inclusive menu. Loved the honey theme!
I brought my daughter, only to be informed everything on the menu is pre-made and they cannot deviate from the order in any way. My fish was raw on the inside. They charge $8 for bread. Overall, the experience was overpriced and underwhelming.
The place is great but the food wasn't that great.
Menu needs improvement. Should be able to add proteins to the pasta dishes. Calamari was really good. The cocktail we had was amazing!
Love the setup they have for coronavirus dining. Very distanced and open air but didn’t feel weird. Tables near outer windows do require jackets in the winter weather.
Everything was amazing, definitely will go back!
Food and ambiance were amazing! Really good seasonal food and drinks. Service was a little slow because they were so busy, but overall really enjoyed it.
Very expensive. The food options were limited and very expensive. Wasn't much to order. Didn't order any main dishes as they weren't any that seemed appealing especially considering the cost.
Service was extremely slow. Took a long time to get drinks and really get any service from the waiter, even though it was only ordering a bottle of wine. Then was refused any dessert because of the early time of close, after waiting for about 15 minutes for our waiter to come by. Normally wouldn’t mind this but we were there for a birthday. Had to ask other waiters for service. Would expect much better service anywhere, but especially because it wasn’t a cheap meal.
Great experience. Service was slow but that’s okay
Food was good but the service could be better. Waited a while for drinks, even though the food came out very quickly. I thought it was a rooftop restaurant with views of the city but definitely not what I was expecting. It’s also a little chilly even though they do have heaters set up. Overall was good but needs some improvements
Set up was very nice. Tables were socially distant from each other, so we felt safe. Had an awesome waiter, hooked us up with many different types of honey. The food was good, but a little pricey for what we were given. Drinks were also good as well. Would recommend to try once for sure.
Fun place to entertain friends and family. Love the seasonal theme and decorations.
I feel conflicted about my experience here. While the setting was beautiful, the overall experience was not great. I think getting charged for a thimble of marinara sauce is a little ridiculous considering the prices of the other items. I would say stop in for drink, a cheese plate and some photos but maybe eat your dinner somewhere else.
The space was quaint and the service was good. I thought the food and drinks were overpriced for what it was.
Overall amazing experience! Some highlights/notes:
-Nice dividers/felt safe and private
-Good amount of space/didn't feel crowded
-Food was amazing! Highly recommend the cured meat and cheese board, arancini rice balls, and butternut squash truffle pasta. A little pricy but worth it. Good for sharing.
-Drinks were always awesome and seasonal! Recommend the Ecuolypto cocktail and the warm apple cider cocktails. I had the one with the brandy, glitter and rock candy!
Only "negative" was that some seats are not nearby heat lamps / can be cool so we did wear our coats for a while and that it is a bit of a costly experience - good for a special night out like a birthday but not for a casual weeknight or something.
Our waiter was attentive and I loved how he recommended a wine that would pair well with my risotto. My friends and I loved the food and ambiance.
All was amazing . I must mention this is the first Restaurant I’ve been to thus far, that has not taken any temperatures upon entry.
Exceptional Service, Delicious Food and Awesome Cocktails!
Food was good. Service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant send a dessert for the birthday girl. A fun and comfortable dinner for my daughter's birthday.
Nice place for a first date or a date with your significant other.
Love the atmosphere! The food was delicious!
We absolutely loved the food! The pasta al forno is to die for! The service was impeccable (we were there on a pretty quiet Monday night right before closing) and there are tons of instagrammable spots within Eataly and Serra by Birreria. Highly recommend the cheese and honey sampler. So good! Can’t wait to come back.
Okay experience. The butternut squash soup tasted burned
Food was delicious, but there were too many people in too small a space. Everyone was having a good time, but as a senior I was uncomfortable in the crowd. It’s a rooftop, but it’s far from totally open. Won’t come back until a vaccine.
Cant say enough good things about this place, love it! Our service has always been great and over many years of dining here there only have been very very few errors (no place is 100% perfect) , but the service and staff always managed to take care of anything quickly.
Always love how the menu changes for the seasons, cant wait for the next change!
Amazing food, atmosphere and servers! Everything was perfect! Lovely location for a date night.
The atmosphere was very cute, food and drinks were delicious! I got the honeynut squash dish and 10% of proceeds went to save the bees. A good cause and a fun night with my girlfriends! Service wasn’t great, but we weren’t in a rush anyways.
I enjoyed the experience. The decor was beautiful. The food was good, in general, but not amazing.
Our server was great - upbeat, knew her wine, went above and beyond. The food was delicious -- beet salad was bright and tasty, chicken thighs were perfect. My only compliant is the food was a bit salty.
I felt very comfortable here with all of the regulations and practices put in place due to to COVID-19. The service was very prompt and professional and the food was delish. Let’s not forget the DECOR! Beautiful rooftop, beautiful theme. The rooftop is also equipped with heated lamps in case you get a little chilly. Don’t forget to check out EATALY downstairs if you’ve never been!
Great vibes. Waiter was amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming.
Calamari appetizer was excellent. Pasta al Forno was heavy handed with the cheese, but truffle oil added great flavor. Well made martini and gin gimlet. Most important note: space was "safe". Partitions between tables for 2 was not only protective, but also felt cosy and private. Nice!
