The atmosphere here is always beautiful. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here with a luncheon and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend Serra for a special occasion or everyday dining. Really a beautiful standout in NYC!
Service was very attentive, food was delicious and a beautiful rooftop ambience.
It is a lovely lovely place to eat, but the portions are very very small, even for an 8 & 13 yr old. For the price we all left hungry.
Really disappointed with the food and service. My pasta tasted like something you get at the airport and cost 25 dollars
Beautiful ambience. Food was delicious and there were locally sourced dishes.
Our first time here and we loved it. We will go back for sure.
The restaurant is beautiful and food is authentic Italian. The appetizers we got were the veggies & dip and meat & cheese platter. Both were very basic, overpriced, and not that tasty. Could get either at the market below for 1/4 of cost. The main courses were amazing though. I got the shrimp pasta, my husband got the skewers. Delicious. Just pick an appetizer that requires cooking to get the best value of this expensive place!
It being an Italian place, we were really looking forward to eating pasta but unfortunately when we reached their pasta machine had some issues. So we went with a sea food item instead. The trout fish was cooked well but the seasoning was okayish. The ambience is amazing but well that’s it.
A Italian restaurant that didn’t have any PASTA available. Really?! Terrible drinks, terrible trota, terrible experience in a cool and expensive place.
Unfortunate timing, something happened with a machine that makes their pasta so they did not have any pasta options which is pretty insane at an Eataly establishment.
Great vibe, service, food and cocktails. The tables are very close together. I appreciate they want as much business as they can get but I was constantly getting bumped from the people behind me and felt like I knew every word of the conversation from the people beside us. Not to mention the current health concerns of being so close together while eating, although outdoors so that clearly helps.
the service was great as well as the ambiance. It was a bit pricey in my opinion. I prob will not go back because of the prices. I have been here before but this time the prices were higher.
Wonderful time and food. Had an amazing time.
Great ambiance. Waiter was welcoming and offered great menu selections. The calamari was delicious. The drink “sunset peach” or something in that range was delicious. Great place overall.
The shrimp linguine felt bare and mediocre. There were four shrimp and three roasted cherry tomatoes—the dish was barely dressed with olive oil and didn’t have a distinct flavor. Drinks, service, and ambience were great.
Excelente atención, ambiente y comida deliciosa
Very very noisy. Service was excellent if a bit slow. Food was good but not great given the high prices.
Went here with my fri
Nice rooftop love the decor, food is good and so are the drinks. Service is amazing! I’ve visited twice and the service never lacked. The food arrives fast as well. Took my mom out for her bday and she loved it. To Christy & Danielle, if you are reading this! Thank you, thank you so so much for your abundant Hearts! We were in awe! God bless you both!
The place was beautiful and staff was attentive. The biggest downside for me was the price. We spent $130 for an appetizer, 2 main course, and 2 drinks. It’s a place you would want to go to just to experience it.
Went here for lunch with a friend. The restaurant is beautiful and it was great weather to be on a rooftop.
We ordered the skewers and a bowl of zucchini pasta to share. Food portion was large. I enjoyed the experience
The food is amazing and the service is impeccable. The waiter we had was excellent and the restaurant is clean and beautiful
Bonito lugar, las pastas no estan buenas
Food was great, it was a humid summer day with thunderstorms, but the side windows were open and aired out the place. Truly Italian fare, even the wine offerings. This place is better when it is. It as packed but it is a go to place for everyone. Reservations are a must and they have a soft time limit on the table.
Amazing service, delicious food and drinks -one of my favorite spots -everything is done to perfection!
Service was great and atmosphere very nice, but food was average and the bathrooms looked like a tornado had come through! I would expect Eataly to have someone come through every so often to tidy things up. The restaurant on the street level has a much better menu and better food. I can skip Serra in the future!
Beautiful rooftop setting with open skylights. Noise level is still very high. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. We decided to try “Per La Tevola”: For the table - appetizer was chef’s selection of meats & cheeses followed by a 48 oz grass fed porterhouse steak served with a delicious market salad and crispy parmigiano reggiano Dop potatoes with Chianti butter! What a fabulous meal! The diners around us had to ask what we ordered. The food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed every bite. We would highly recommend this dinner. It is perfect for 4 adults. We had 3 in our party so 1 lucky person had a wonderful meal to go!
Loved the vibe!
I have eaten downstairs in Eatly many times. And was very much looking forward to finally going upstairs. Food was delicious, ambiance was amazing. Our waiter was a bit of a disappointment, not very friendly. Seemed like he was "over it"
I am in the food industry, specifically a caterer and clearly I know what our industry has suffered thru in the past year, as I have experienced that first hand. Maybe like most restaurants, you are understaffed, I totally understand that, we all are., & I hope that's all this was for our waiter, & I will most certainly give the benefit of the doubt. Or maybe he should just look for another gig outside of the service industry.
Came here for a birthday lunch! We loved our server - he was very attentive, super friendly and helpful with picking out what to eat. I'm mostly plant based so there aren't too many items on the menu for me but he tried his best and also surprised us with a birthday treat at the end of our meal. What I also enjoyed was the ambience. Tbh, the food was very average and heavy. I wished it had a few more lighter dishes (given the vibe was a garden feel). I would definitely recommend coming here once for the beautiful decor and experience but pick a day that is not hot because the fans they have do not help at all during a hot summer day.
It was a pleasant experience. The caprese salad was good.
Overall really lovely evening.
I was expecting slightly more elevated flavors and food quality.
For being atop Eataly, I was expecting a bit more panache and better seasoning.
Some of the food was a bit bland.
Mozzarella was cut into diced and prosciutto was stale from being pre-sliced.
