Very disappointed with the gluten free options
It was our 10th Anniversary and we expected a more romantic and exotic atmosphere, but it was a casual and disco-like environment with. Dancehall feel and noise level. Not what I would expect when you pay $60 for a $20 bottle of Prosecco. The food was quite delicious was adequate service. If, dine again it will be just an ordinary day, I will dress extremely casual. The pasta counter restaurant downstairs is better suited for fine dining.
Service was poor! Unfortunate because the place and food are good and very nice.
Went for the first time last night. Since it was the rooftop I was actually expecting it to be open air, which it's not. So if you are not doing indoor dining yet, take note. It was also a little warm on a pretty cool night, even with fans going.
The space itself is very pretty and for those who like to post on Instagram and elsewhere, you'll find lots of opportunities. The tables are well spaced and there are wall dividers next to them, which we appreciated. The staff remains masked (our waiter was very attentive), which is also good. I wish though that they would enforce for anyone not eating or drinking at their tables that they need to remain masked, especially since it is indoors.
We started with the beet salad and the bread by Otto. The salad was one of the most beautiful we had ever seen: such great colour! It also had a lot of texture and flavour. I think it was our favourite dish of the meal. The crusty bread was also really good and they didn't bring it sliced, which we realized we smart. We would have eaten a lot more of it with the butter and pesto it came with. My friend ordered the pork skewers and said they were kind of overcooked. I had a vegetarian pasta (with ricotta). It was good, but not amazing. There was a lot of tomato sauce and the dish could have done with more flavour.
I would go back but I'd like to try the Patio restaurant outside next time.
Bland food. Inattentive service.
Beautiful atmosphere and fabulous food!
Great place great staff, amazing atmosphere , will suggest to freinds
It was excellent! I wish it was a bit more clear when making the reservation that the kitchen was closing at 10pm, but it was absolutely lovely
Lovely rooftop bar with top-notch ambiance. The food was solid (but nothing special), but the cocktails were fantastic and very unique. You’re definitely paying a significant up charge for the rooftop experience.
The fan blowing was very cold. The server was not attentive at all. Had to ask a million times for someone to find him. Skewers and ricotta balls were excellent. Everything else was mediocre.
Venue was gorgeous, no complaints there. Food was ehhh. The menu was not very large and the pasta section was pretty small for a restaurant literally inside Eataly. The only thing I even liked on the menu was the steak and the potatoes that came with it were better than the steak itself. Overall I think they should look at expanding their menu.
Food was delicious and beautiful flowers decoration:)
Great service, delicious food, beautiful and awesome vibes - all around great place!!! Looking forward to coming back soon. Would definitely recommend!
The food was delicious and the service was great! The restaurant is beautiful and you definitely feel tees chic while dining there! You’ll have a great time!
Great smoked cocktails, wait staff was fantastic, food was good
I had a wonderful experience at Serra. The food (calamari, pork skewer, and pastas) were phenom
The only con is that the kitchen closes by 10 which was a bummer on a Friday night.
Horrible service. The waiter had a horrible attitude. Food overpriced for what you get. The place have a beautiful decoration, but that's all.
The drinks were great. The food was with the exception of the chicken which did not taste good.
Great meal and the ambiance was amazing. Service was great, lamb ragu was delicious
Amazing, creative food and outstanding service! Can’t wait to to come back.
I will definitely return to this beautiful establishment!
Really beautiful space, great food, great wine selection and wonderful service!
Muy hermoso el lugar y la comida 10 puntos. El trago que elegí realmente a mi no me gusto pero eso ya es cuestión de gustos. La atención buena. El ruido de los ventiladores podría mejorar
The restaurant for all its hype was disappointing. The decor was tasteless with innumerable plastic flowers making the place look inherently cheap. On a hot 90 degree day, the fan above us didn't work (the server assured us that he has never seen it work). Food was OK but nothing special. Would not recommend this place at all.
It's a lovely venue. We had a great meal. Service was attentive, though very busy.
Service was a little disappointing. Very slow, our server rarely checked on us. in fact I had to ask another server to go get him.
It was the wrong time to have lunch since the weather was too hot. Also, we were not that impressed by the food.
it was a very hot day, and there was not enough sun protection
otherwise, the food and service were great, the ambiance wonderful
Great time. Very picturesque place.
Honestly was pretty underwhelmed. I thought an Italian place would have more than 4 pastas on the menu, and some more traditional ones at that. I'm not asking for butter noodles or fettuccine alfredo lol but the 4 options they did have were pretty obscure and not as flavorful as I was hoping. We had the lamb ragu and chitarra with pancetta and fava beans and yeah it was just okay. Also I would not recommend going if its anything above 75 degrees because while they have some fans running it was uncomfortably humid and hot up there, couldn't stay for very long.
You feel rushed because they say you only have 1 hour 30 mins. From being seated the waiter arrived 16 mins after. The food then comes out in 15 mins after. Food was good but warm would
of like it hot but Calamari was a little salty. Loved the overall service and experience and atmosphere. In the summer they have the fans on so you’ll be kinda hot
The food was absolutely incredible. Do yourself a favor and order the seared artichokes appetizer. The waiters went out of their way to be helpful and were nothing short of wonderful.
I'm only deducting a star because the table was placed in such a way that the sun was blasting us which, on a 92 degree day, is no joke. It's our mistake trying to go to a rooftop restaurant on such a hot day, but I figured a restaurant of this caliber had thought through how to make the area more comfortable in the heat. It's *really* hot up there which made the experience slightly less enjoyable. But the food and service more than made up for it.
I am an Eataly fan. I do almost ALL of my food shopping there. Have eaten outdoors at all temperatures.
We should have been informed before hand that there was no AIR CONDITIONING!!
What were we to to on a hot Sunday? Start searching for another place to dine?
So, we suffered, and one of the parties has health issues. Not okay.
The food was extraordinary as well as the service.
They should post on their website and inform guests when they reconfirm that on hot days there is no ac.
First off, this is an absolutely beautiful rooftop location that is wonderfully decorated. Given covid, I have been extremely cautious about my outings, but felt very comfortable while dining here. Tables were more than appropriately spaced out, with barriers in-between each. Our waiter was outstanding, so patient and really took care of us (I have several food allergies and he double checked with the kitchen to make sure what I was getting was safe). Only downfall I found was the pricing, as portions were rather small for the high cost. Will definitely return!
