    It was so hot, it was hard to enjoy the food. Wouldn’t have booked if I realized there was no air conditioning. Waiting over 30 minutes in the heat only raised our anticipation for the food, which was good but we didn’t order any of the warm items.

    We had a table by the kitchen which was unfortunate. Hostesses were unpleasant. Slow service but waiters were very hospitable. Broken wine fridge?!

    Let me start by saying the restaurant was beautiful. The greenery and lights provided a lovely ambiance. Food was very good and the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Portions were on the small side but tasty. The problem was the temperature in the restaurant. It was extremely hot and the few fans they had were not doing anything. I understand it was a heatwave but we were there in the evening and to not have some type of air circulation was unacceptable!

    I reserved a table at this restaurant for my birthday brunch, hoping for a special experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The food was bland and unimpressive — certainly not worth the high prices, and honestly comparable to what you might get from a basic street food truck. The service was also underwhelming. The waiter made no effort to acknowledge the occasion or suggest anything special for a birthday brunch. Nothing felt celebratory or unique about the experience. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. This was meant to be a memorable meal, but instead it was forgettable and overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend it for special occasions and for any occasion. Even for a cup of coffee you can find much better place in NYC.

    Service and environment was exceptional. It was a very hot day but we were pretty comfortable with the fans running and enjoyed the rooftop restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

    Beautiful and unique, but not the best Italian food. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Very unique "Amalfi" tucked away in NYC. As an Italian I think there are many other places in NYC offering better food and portions for the price.
