Perfect COVID restaurant— open air skylights and nice partitions between tables. I felt very safe, and the decorations were beautiful, every table was full but I did not feel crowded
The worst service I have experienced in NYC in a long, long time. Our waiter was awful: inattentive, forgot items, constantly trying to up-sell, and "accidentally" added a $60 bottle of wine to our check (we did NOT order any bottle of wine so this was egregious, in my opinion). The food is tasty, but extremely overpriced and not innovative. Do not waste your time or money coming to this restaurant. There are rooftop restaurants with significantly better food, value, and service. Note: I fully understand restaurants are struggling due to COVID and I am cognizant of that in my review(s); however, the complete lack of service during this dining experience warrants my low ratings.
Waiter was extremely nice and helpful. Appetizer and desert were excellent, main course was ok not amazing but good.
Small portions for the price bring charged. The waygu was pretty good. The pasta classica mediocre. The tiramisu was nothing but cream in a cup. Staff was nice.
Nice place, a bit pricey but good food. A bit deceiving about say it’s “outdoor dining”. The roof was only half retracted and some of the windows were open, but was a bit uncomfortable and felt more indoors than outdoors. Tables are about 6 feet apart with partitions, but probably won’t be returning during covid.
Lovely service and the environment was so lovely and pretty! I love the scenic views of the bees all around.
We had a great time celebrating a family birthday. The staff was superb! There was a little miscommunication with one of our orders but they fixed it right away and were very kind. We loved our meal and the ambiance was great! The decorations were amazing as always, it amazing to see what they can do with the space.
Due to COVID we booked 2 tables for a party of 10 for a small Monday bday dinner. I called to let the host know that group was together. We understood that we would be seated in 2 tables but we agreed to it being near each other. Upon arrival the hostess sat us far apart and the party of 5 next to us had just finished dinner & left. We asked if our other group could be seated next to us, she refused. We hadn’t ordered yet and were still in the process of being seated. We had some calamari appetizers while we booked a reservation at a different restaurant and left. The hostess was so rude but our server was very nice. The calamari was soooo good!
So good! We were stuffed with just the pasta and the waitress recommended the most delicious Prosecco! It wasn’t full at all because it was relatively early and the social distancing measures were more than satisfactory.
Had a wonderful time here for my one month anniversary with my gf. Couldnt have asked for any better, it was lovely.
Amazing experience! Thank you all the staff!
I love how they change the Decour and the menu every few months. It keeps things fresh and makes me want to return again. I especially loved this summers theme as they partnered with a big conservatory to raise money through the dishes
Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Highly recommend
This is such a beautiful space. Our waiter was amazing, so friendly. However, we personally felt the menu was a little strange! Not a huge amount of choice and quite a lot of similar things. I know there is a theme but we actually struggled to find enough things that we would like to eat. Having said that, the food was really high quality, just very very rich.
LOVE Serra Rooftop - I come every season to see the decor and menu changes and it never disappoints! Awesome touch that the current theme is for bee conservation and includes lots of honey featured in the dishes!
Great experience as always.
My favorite place other than the price, cheapest thing is like 25$ for something small. But the scenery was great and very very good food! My favorite was the Plan Bee beer.
The absolute worse place I’ve ever been too. Overpriced for what it was. The server maybe came up once to check on us. Took a solid 45 minutes of constant reminders to bring us water or even take our order.
The chicken entree was good except the salad tasted like it was bitter and old.
I complained and nothing was done.
Worse place ever. They have a lot to work on.
THEY MUST IMPROVE SERVICE BEFOR I WILL REURN 15 minutes wait for water too long 3 people only 2 bread servings given another long wait for coffee
Everything was very nice except I thought it was relatively very expensive. Mostly the portions were good, the pork shank was huge, but still expensive for what you got.
"Hot" drinks were cold. It was my boyfriends birthday and I listed this when making the reservation and they didn't do anything for it !
Pasta was good, steak was okay, but beware of one meal that comes in a pot made for plants. Though its creative it didn't taste the good.
The birreria really deserves awards for their seasonal design. It never disappoint a and is always so magical. The honey hives and jar west celebration is beautiful and the food is so fresh and delicious. Always a treat.
Not too many choices on the menu. Also, the waiter was impatient and kinda rude when taking our order. 🙁
Great date spot, small group dinning.
I could not have had a better experience at Serra. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was fantastic, he checked on us to make sure we were doing well, he made fantastic recommendations for food and drinks, and was a pleasure to interact with. The food and cocktails were absolutely fantastic. It goes without saying, but the decor and ambience were fantastic. 10/10 would recommend, and will be going back soon.
This was an awful experience from beginning to end. Mixed drinks were awful, had to send back two and the other was not good either. Ordered a salad with "Trout" but instead was served Salmon. The salad was swimming in dressing and was inedible. Would not have ordered Salmon as I make this at home everyday. Waiter seemed stoned. There was nothing great about the food/drinks/experience. Very little effort to make this a great covid dining option except for the massive wood barricades between tables.
Had the absolute best date in a while! The food was outstanding and the ambience was amazing. We got the pork shoulder and so much honey beer it was insane. Can’t wait to go back.
Love the honey theme. We actually had a honey bee visit our table. Added surprise bonus. The drink menu was so creative. We had a honey beer and a cocktail with bourbon and honey. It came with a huge cinnamon stick and a cinnamon flower on top. Presentation was excellent.
We ordered burrata with honey and toasted pistachios. Tasty! And the pasta with squash. And kale salad.
The decor was so delightful. Wait staff superb.
Very fresh and creative dining experience.
This rooftop bar has a rather casual &
relaxed vibe where you can meet up with your girlfriends for lunch & some drinks.
Great outdoor (/indoor) eating experience. The ambience was really nice and the food was delicious. I was there early so it was not crowded and the staff very attentive.
good wish i knew when the setting was changing - fall not nearly as cute as summer but good food
Was very excited but wouldn’t go back. It was extremely loud and the server was not to be found. Had to ask for water, ask to order, ask for silverware.
Tiny portions and terrible service. Mediocre food. Would not recommend.
limited menu due to COVID, but still really delicious!
love this restaurant... food and service is worth the $$.
Way too many bees. We couldn't use half the table because we were being swarmed. The staff talks about getting stung by the bees but there is protocol in place keep the bees away from you.
Serra has transformed into an autumn experience with their new honey-focused menu. We had the cheese and honey board and it was delicious!
The food was pretty good and the service was prompt. The tables were appropriately spaced. for COVID My big issue was the management decided it would be a good idea to put little hooks on the underneath at the corner of the table to hang your mask. No staff told us they were there and the one at the seat next to me was bent so when I reached over to get my purse I ripped the sleeve of my shirt on it. If they thought this was such a great idea, why did no one tell us they were there and if this is so great an idea why not have them for women's purses???
