Instagram worthy with excellent food and service along with great prices
Painfully small portions for the price. Service is very slow. Restroom is far away and lacks paper towels. Hard to locate entrance to restaurant. Very noisy, but interesting decor. The rooftop garden aspect is lost at night because you cannot see out. The food is good, but it feels odd to spend so much money and leave hungry.
It was okay! I didn’t like the paper flowers and leaves. I thought it’d look like something you get at hobby lobby. Food was super pricey and very small portions. Don’t get the steak they only served 5 slices for $29 that’s just ridiculous. Definitely need money money to dine at this place. Just too pricey for my taste.
Saw our waiter two times, when we were seated and when we ordered. Anything else we needed we had to grab people as they walked by.
Heard good thing about this restaurant on tik tok and when my boyfriend and I visited nyc. We wanted to check the place out. Lucky we reserve a table ahead of time, people front of didn’t and they left (I think they only allow reservations only)
When we got seated, we had to sit with people less than a feet away. I could hear the conversations from the people we sat with. Sitting was a terrible experience. However, we order the pollo and mash potatoes — it was delicious! If you’re going with a large group you’ll be seated in a private table vs two people you’ll be seated with random people.
Although the ambience is still great, it seems the food quality and service have gone down. We felt as though we had 5 different waiters. It took forever to get two glasses of water just to begin. The burrata and asparagus starters were good. The rest was not. Everything was overly salted and smothered in cheese. I remember this place being very good. I'll stick to drinks there but not a full dinner.
It was fun and good service. The people there were so nice to us and treated us. Couldn't have been a better time all around, thank you!
I was expecting the decor to look a lot better as it did in the picture but so disappointing the top of the foliage with fake paper in the picture it looks so cute but not in person so disappointing
Great place for lunch. They’ve started changing the decoration for spring.
I wanted to come for the ambience but the winter deco was already taken down. The food was very expensive, small portions and very unimaginative. If I were to return, it would be only in summer for the bar.
Pretty weak food, fair service and decent ambiance. Nothing to crave about or remember. A solid mediocre. If I ever went again, it would be for drinks by the bar, not food.
Amazing food, amazing service . Thought it would have looked nicer but I think they may have been going through renovations . It was a bit loud but overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely go back . Food and service was incredible
What a great little spot in NYC. We had a wonderful dinner, some really good drinks and a lot of fun. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was really great. We would highly recommend a visit to Serra by Birreria for something slightly different than your regular Italian dinner experience.
We went to Serra by Birreria to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We expected an amazing rooftop view, magically decorated for the current season. If you look up the restaurant on line, you would have the same expectation. Instead, the views were fully obstructed by other buildings and they were in the middle of transitioning their decor for the next season, so basically there was no great view and no seasonal decorations. Just a small corner with some lights and benches. We felt rushed from the moment we sat down. Our server was very flat and seemed disinterested in explaining the menu. With that being said, we did enjoy our meal. Portions were small, but tasty. Our overall experience was disappointing.
