Love the seasonal menu and decor, I always come back every season!
Comfortable atmosphere and authentic Italian food. A great experience!
Absolutely loved this venue it was such a great experience to have during the pandemic and really enjoyed the food the desert and especially the cocktails! We also had really attentive leaders that made our experience amazing
They didn’t have one thing we wanted in the menu BUT EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS GREAT!
food and service was great! would def recommend to a friend.
I scheduled the dinner for my anniversary. The food and service were wonderful. Will recommend and return again. The decoration was breathtaking.
Was really expecting more from Eatly. They just had some basic decorations up, limited and very expensive menu and with the windows open, it ended up being pretty cold. I personally didn’t think it was worth the price.
Service was a bit slow. The pastas, burrata and calamari were great. Ambience is so cute.
Beautiful and fun
Brilliant server, great food
My pasta dish was overdone. It was my girlfriends birthday and our server forgot to come back to take our dessert order, overall we were so annoyed we left and ordered dessert from somewhere else.
Very nice and knowledgeable waiter! They even gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Much appreciated:)
Been dying to try this place for a while. Because of covid it looks one of the warmer outdoor places, but I was still cold. Wine was not good, tried two different types. Truffle risotto was good, butternut squash pasta was mediocre at best. Skip the bread. Nothing special. There are a lot of amazing restaurants in NYC, this is not one of them.
EATALY’s rooftop restaurant Serra has quality ingredients from Italy for their dishes, albeit a bit expensive. But worth the price.
The ambiance is great and they always have different themes for different seasons.
I just removed a star for the service because they were slow but very nice staff though :)
Fine for a group of friends or date night!
COVID Rules are respected and it’s not too cold even with the covered rooftop’s windows open because of all of the heat lamps on during dining.
A sense of normalcy during the pandemic. A great spot that has remained open because of its rooftop location. Interesting menu that changes seasonally.
Our experience at Serra was incredible. Our server Jose was the best. My family enjoyed the food and cocktail, OMG the Limone Sfumato cocktail was so good. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this restaurant, also the manager was kind and attentive to our table. This is a perfect place to enjoying with families and friends. Very safe and clean. Thank you Serra. Thank you Mariela and Jose, you guys are the best.
The food was truly awful compared to every other Italian restaurant in the tri state area. A bold statement but true, as an Italian woman I was appalled by the food. Have you all ever heard of seasoning? Pass on this place, it’s good for mid western tourists only. Sorely disappointed.
The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious! The staff was very nice and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was that the service was pretty slow. It took forever to get our orders in and food out. But everything else was exceptional!
Food portion definitely not worth the money. Bread was cold.
great experience, especially during covid. felt very safe while we were eating there
The service was amazing!
Awesome restaurant and seasonal vibe in the COVID-ridden winter of nyc.
This restaurant was AMAZING. The ambience was wonderful, it had great atmosphere and our Server, Tom was WONDERFUL! I cannot recommend this place enough :) 5 stars across the board.
This beautiful restaurant is a perfect spot to go to during COVID-19. The restaurant is well enclosed to maintain heat but they also have a roof and window openings for good ventilation. It's nice and warm for those cold winter nights. I ordered a POMPELMO with Smoked Gin and it had amazing flavor components. In addition, there was a wine bottle special for 50% off so we ended up ordering an excellent red. The appetizers were delicious and filling. I suggest getting the ZUPPA DI ZUCCA, MAITAKE, FRITTELLE DI FUNGHI, and the Buratta. My friends and I all initially ordered the PASTA AL FORNO CLASSICA and we do not recommend it as the consistency of the sauce was too thick and relatively bland. The manager was very kind and helped us get more appetizers instead. He was very accommodating to us and took our constructive criticism very well. Lastly, I have to comment on the decor. The restaurant had the exact feeling I wanted for the winter holiday/new year season. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice place to eat that takes you away from the quarantine lifestyle for a few hours. Thank you, Serra!
I’ve been wanting to try Serra for awhile now and it did not disappoint. Wonderful food and great service. The ambiance was just lovely.
Food was mediocre. Pasta is essentially cheese with a bit of pasta included as an after thought.
Risotto was just, no.
Cheese and meats antipasti was above average. Can't really mess this up.
From entering to exiting, the employees give off a sense that they dont care. Fine.
But went for an anniversary and it took 20 minutes to order. Mind you it was another sections' server I had to flag down, who apologized for the absence of our guy and helped us.
Occasionally, the original server who neglected us would shoot us a glance, but never came by during our meal.
You are paying for ambience and decor, food is on par to cheesecake factory.
Just amazingly bad service and attitude. So so so many better places to go to in nyc, even during a pandemic.
Food, service and drinks were great. DJ's music was a bit too loud for my taste, but overall it was a good time.
Great food! Great Service!
Our server took 15-20 minutes after we were sat to take our order, and the same amount of time between each course.
I love how the decorate it and the cocktails are amazing. The food is just ok.
The experience overall was great, the place is beautiful and perfect for Instagram. As for the food, we decided on the New Year’s special menu and it was outstanding. The appetizer with the fresh scallops and caviar was refreshing. The tomahawk was perfectly grilled medium rare and the sides paired really well. Great special drinks, we went for the smoked specials.
The Cons here were it was excessively loud and the service was too slow. Out server Thomas was great but overall everything was slow. Not once we got more water and I could see the hostess going around checking for the “90-min timeframe” but we didn’t get the food. It was well onto the hour when we finally got the main courses. If they really want to reinforce the 90 min time, food has to come out in time.
Overall venue, food, drinks, and our server great. 4 stars for being too loud and the slowness in service.
Not very outdoors when it’s cold and rainy - didn’t think it was covid safe. Fun drinks though
The food was not good. Risotto not cooked through. Squash did not taste good. Food is the worse I’ve ever had in nyc. I’ve had better food from a deli. The drinks and ambiance were great.
New Years Day celebration with a great chefs selection. The food was great! There was 2 of us so we had some left overs. Loved the smoked cocktail
Lovely rooftop restaurant. Ambiance was a 10/10 great music and great vibe! Food was delicious as well!! Highly recommend this restaurant
I don't like to review restaurants during a pandemic, but this is an outdoor dining experience with very good food.
Good and service were great as usual. Meals were overpriced compared to other seasonal specials they normally do.
Our waiter was terrific. The food was outstanding. It was warm and delightful. My only possible criticism was the noise level. There was a DJ present, and it was a bit loud. (Good choice of tunes though.)
This place is popular for its decor, but without that there is nothing special about this restaurant. The service was average at best and the food was overpriced for what it was. If you’re visiting nyc and want a nice picture maybe come here, but otherwise not worth the money.
Service was great, the staff were very friendly, food was amazing! A little on the cold side due to open windows, but our waiter moved our heater for us. I wish I remembered his name!
