Such a wonderful experience. The ambience is AMAZING. They redecorate with a full theme for every season. Food was really delicious and the place was very loud and energetic. Would definitely recommend. 10/10
Lovely space. Happy it is open during the pandemic. Bring back the fried artichokes please!
Food and service were excellent!!!
Service was amazing.. Too bad I can't say that about the food :(
The food was so good (we had the risotto and the trout), and the cocktails were incredible. The service in general was really good, but if you're going to card one member of the party, you should card both so that I don't feel terrible about myself for most of the meal - my fiancee and I are both under 30!
Was an amazing experience.
Was celebrating a friends birthday, and couldn’t be happier with the food, drinks and amazing service
Although the food and setting were great I was a little turned off with the hostess. I made it known that I wanted to sit at the warmest spot available (because I was cold) but she was very hesitant to move us. We were seated by an open window when there were inside tables that were available! My husband had to go back to her and practically beg her to move us....This was very unprofessional and we almost left. She finally let us pick a table closer to the bar. Our server/waiter was very gracious and food delicious.
Food wasn’t too great and very small portions however service and atmosphere was nice
It’s was a grand ending to a wonderful birthday celebration for my lady. Our waiter Thomas was cool AF & friendly. The ambiance & decor were great & food was delicious
Very nice ambience! Still a bit cold despite the heater. Nevertheless, the food, cocktails and service are amazing!
Service was not amazing - definitley slow. They were out of the dish we wanted and there weren't a ton of option. Very expensive, had to pay for bread. Very pretty inside and a pretty place.
Very crowded for a place thats not really outdoors and not very much protection between tables. lots of heaters but if you are sitting by open windows on the wall very cold. Hard to find a place these days with this many people sitting in a open room.
We all enjoyed our meal...food was great. Although many servers around, the service was less than great. Our check was brought before we asked for it when no request to see if we wanted desert was made. Then, we ordered some coffees and desert and waited a VERY long time...maybe 30 mins. or thereabouts. Although apologies were made, it seemed that the communication amongst servers was lacking.
The service was phenomenal! We had a great time celebrating a birthday.
The place is beautiful! The food is okay, not the best. It's a bit too over priced considering the taste of the food. You would think everything would taste exceptional because of where the location is and because of the price, but it was ok. The only thing we actually liked was a pork that they have on the menu and the drinks. The pastas and risotto were whatever.
Such a wonderful experience. The chicory salad and bread were delicious. Cocktails were super fun. Great airy rooftop setting with heat lamps. Can’t wait to come back!
The food was underwhelming. My friend’s hot apple cider came out and it wasn’t hot or drinkable. Did not taste very good. The Negroni flight was just okay. The rest of the food was very average - I was disappointed and wouldn’t bother coming back considering the price.
Loveeee this place!!! My boyfriend and I had an outstanding meal and the service was terrific. It’s a beautiful place and LOVED the arancini
Great date. It is upsetting how little amount of time that we got to spend there (1.5 hours limit).
Food was awesome but small portions.
Went here for a date. Bread and drinks were amazing!! Pasta dish was good but was pretty full by the time it came. The decor, atmosphere, and the waiter was top notch!!
I had a reservation for 5.15 pm, we arrived at 5, but had to wait till 5.40, why make reservations if I won’t be allowed in at that time? Also, parking is hard to find so we found one and parked for maximum hour which was 2 hours, but by the time I was allowed in I had only 1 hour left for parking so we had to order in a rush, and when we asked for the bill the server was looking at us weird, like why? I decide when I want the bill and when I leave, you guys already made me wait half an hour and wasted my time, so now I need to leave in a rush but I got the vibe that he was judging us that we didn’t order much and leaving in a hurry, but we did that because we were already disappointed by the waiting time and in a rush so we don’t get a parking ticket. Anyways, the decoration was nice, that’s the main reason I went for, if you don’t care about service or have a lot of time in your hand or took the subway there or and just want it for Instagram then go to this place. But if you’re looking for quality time and good top level service I’d say go somewhere else, at least based on my experience.
Amazing food - great and fast service - amazing drinks
The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the ambience was awesome.
Understand this is during Covid, so maybe unfair to rate at this level. While the food was good, I don't think it was worth $45 per person and that was without alcohol or large plates (no meat), and no appetizers, but with dessert.. The price goes up from there very quickly. We had 4 people, a shared charcuterie board between two people because they weren't hungry, two risotto dishes, and 2 desserts, and it was $175. The service could have been a little more attentive as well (water ran out twice and had to get someone to ask to get our waiter to refill). Dessert was fairly small, with coffee\espresso\latte. Again, hard to find places in NY during covid so I was still ok with this price given the situation, and was a great time, just a little expensive.
Love the seasonal menu and decor, I always come back every season!
Comfortable atmosphere and authentic Italian food. A great experience!
Absolutely loved this venue it was such a great experience to have during the pandemic and really enjoyed the food the desert and especially the cocktails! We also had really attentive leaders that made our experience amazing
Birthday was great!
They didn’t have one thing we wanted in the menu BUT EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS GREAT!
food and service was great! would def recommend to a friend.
I scheduled the dinner for my anniversary. The food and service were wonderful. Will recommend and return again. The decoration was breathtaking.
Was really expecting more from Eatly. They just had some basic decorations up, limited and very expensive menu and with the windows open, it ended up being pretty cold. I personally didn’t think it was worth the price.
Service was a bit slow. The pastas, burrata and calamari were great. Ambience is so cute.
Beautiful and fun
Brilliant server, great food
My pasta dish was overdone. It was my girlfriends birthday and our server forgot to come back to take our dessert order, overall we were so annoyed we left and ordered dessert from somewhere else.
I chose Serra for its rooftop space, which I figured would be relatively cozy on a winter day. It's beautifully decorated with a snowflake theme that is very festive and the food, as always, was delicious - we split an incredible steak and with some sides it was more than enough for three.
My one concern is about social distancing. My party of five was seated in a corner table with windows on both sides which felt safe, and with two nearby heat lamps was comfortable even on a 30-degree day. However, while the table density has been greatly reduced, I would not have felt comfortable eating more towards the center of the restaurant as the rooftop skylights were not open. If you are concerned about social distancing I would request a window-side table. (Staff mask compliance and cleanliness is excellent and the space does have very high ceilings).
Very nice and knowledgeable waiter! They even gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Much appreciated:)
Been dying to try this place for a while. Because of covid it looks one of the warmer outdoor places, but I was still cold. Wine was not good, tried two different types. Truffle risotto was good, butternut squash pasta was mediocre at best. Skip the bread. Nothing special. There are a lot of amazing restaurants in NYC, this is not one of them.
EATALY’s rooftop restaurant Serra has quality ingredients from Italy for their dishes, albeit a bit expensive. But worth the price.
The ambiance is great and they always have different themes for different seasons.
I just removed a star for the service because they were slow but very nice staff though :)
Fine for a group of friends or date night!
COVID Rules are respected and it’s not too cold even with the covered rooftop’s windows open because of all of the heat lamps on during dining.
