Hop on over to Serpas for your Easter celebration. Chef Scott and Chef Manny will be creating some season specials in addition to our regular menu items. The Easter Bunny is going to make his yearly appearance too. We will be open for extended brunch hours only: 10:00am-4:00pm.

We ordered a variety of food from the Salmon Chips, Flash Fried Oysters, Strawberry Salad, Pork Chop, Scallops, Trout and Steak! EVERYTHING was impeccable from the presentation, time to table and the taste! In addition, Alicia’s attentiveness and customer service was so personable and topped off our experience as first time diners! We will definitely return and enjoy more delights from the menu!
Reunion of friends
Food and drinks were very good, especially the salmon chips. Chicken was very tender.
The food was very good. Everything came to the table hot and fresh. The service was also very good. Staff was attentive, but not overly so.
Serpas was wonderful! Excellent service and beautiful seasonal menu!
Food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the flash fried oysters. Loved the Brussels Sprouts and the beignets were also beyond what I expected.

My husband and I love it here, and Serpas certainly didn’t disappoint! Fried oysters! Cheesy grits! Yum. I had the delectable almond crusted trout—absolutely delicious. Our waitress was spot on and we had a great evening. We’ll be back!

All dishes were great and we had a lovely evening.
Had to wait fifteen minutes past the reservation time before our party was seated. Service and food were awesome after being seated and served. Restaurant was short on staff however we were compensated with a free appetizer. We would definitely return.
Great food and service just very loud. Next time will ask to sit outside.
We had reservations at 11:45, the restaurant was half empty but we didn’t get seated until 12:15.
By 12:30 during Sunday brunch they were already out of the pigs in a blanket and tuna tartar. Food was lack luster and not worth the price.
We have been to Serpas about five or six times. We have never been disappointed. We would recommend it to anyone.
It was perfect. I believe our server was named Allison and she was super helpful and spot on with her recommendations. She made super food even better.

The food here is exceptional! This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant and for the second time, other guests in my party were wowed by the taste and portion size of their meals. I'm upset that I'm just finding out about this low-key, in town gem!
Excellence every time! Shrimp/scallop and grits are life changing and the salmon chips are silky and divine!
Everything was delicious and our server Josh did an excellent. He was polite and courtesy, as well as efficient.
Been coming to Serpas for years when I come into town for business. The menu choices have grown smaller and less desirable. The waitress who has been there for years has lost her vibrancy. The Tuna tartar was still good, but way to spicy hot. My wife got the steak and oysters. The oysters were ok, but the steak was tough. I got the Trout which was ok. I know that it is hard to maintain a great consistency, but I think that the two times in a row I've been there were not what they once were. I hope they get their mojo back.
The service was wonderful as always. The food was very tasty and filling. We always have a wonderful time when we dine here. The beignets are extraordinary! They are the best we have ever eaten. Wonderful!!!!
Wanted to exchange slice of toast for hash browns or grits, Was told I had to pay for one slice of toast. It appears that the cost is far below grits or hash browns. They decided to write up my order as an a la carte which was less but I take issue with the chef's policy . We eat there frequently and was disappointed with that.
Waitress was mot accomodating. Manger needs to improve her attitude and demeanor

My first time here will more than likely be my last time. I’m originally from Louisiana and was super excited about the Fat Tuesday night. I made a reservation for 2. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. The service was terrible! Our waitress only came over because we called her. The entire night we asked random employees walking by for things including utensils, extra drinks, the check and even to pay. At one point we watched as she walked around to every table but ours. The food was ok but not what i expected. Maybe this is because it was considered a big night for the special occasion but the restaurant was fully staffed. I can honestly say i enjoyed the live music. We definitely will not visit this place again.
We joined 4 friends for a birthday and it was Mardi Gras. The place was packed and the band was excellent. The food was absolutely perfect.

Really have tried to love this place as it is a very close walk. Food is great. Noise is horrible, can't hear or carry on a conversation as solid floors, walls and ceiling make it impossible. Noise sounds like my high school cafeteria. We will not go back:(
My and I enjoyed Serpas. The service was okay, it could have been better. Our server Jennifer started out great but kind of fizzled out half way through. It was kind of busy, so maybe she was overwhelmed. The flash fried oysters were great! The beignets were great as well. I also had the oysters Benedict and they were just okay. My husband had the breakfast plate, he enjoyed it. We will visit again.
I’ve always loved Serpas & the food has always been spectacular m. but the shrimp in my dish were so over cooked they were rubber?! The server was good in the beginning but definitely did not keep up with our needs as it got busier.
Nice vibe but a bit noisy. Not very vegetarian friendly and they were out of a lot of entres at 9 PM on Saturday. That said, might try again
Food was fantastic but the kitchen seemed to be backed up and as a result service was very slow despite the fact we had a reservation. Much longer dinner than necessary.
It was difficult getting into the parking lot as the entrance now serves multiple new restaurants.

We ordered a dish that we were told had run out, then saw it be served to a table that arrived after us, when we asked about this we were told that was the last one we had seen.

This is not the level of service I expect from Serpas. A restaurant that I normally have a great experience visiting. A bit of a let down for a birthday meal.
OK this was our second time dining at Serpa's and the same issue remains. They cannot manage the kitchen in order to deliver food to the table in a reasonable time and at the right temperature. We waited at least 20 minutes between our appetizers and the delivery of the entrees. Then the seared tuna that is "served rare" was cooked all the way to well-done. How can that happen and where is the quality control in the kitchen? When the replacement plates arrived another ten minutes later they were finally prepared correctly. Why was there no visit from a manager? Obviously they don't care about the diner's experience and satisfaction. I want to be clear that none of the issues we experienced were the servers fault. This is a poorly managed restaurant that serves good food when it finely arrives at the table and is cooked properly.
The food is really, really good here! We were a table of 4 and ordered the salmon chips, of course. These are just terrific and fresh every time. Drinks were slow to come to the table; and later slow to be refilled. Entrees: Porkchop, Stuffed Trout, Hanger Steak and Crab Stuffed Tortellini w Short Rib were all so tasty and perfect that we didn’t complain that one person had to wait an extra 10 minutes for their entree to arrive. Our waiter was friendly and responsive and apologetic when it was required. We had a good meal at the right price!
We waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive , when we asked the waitress she blamed it on a larger party that was also dining there even though we arrived before them. The food was also underwhelming for the prices and the fish dish we ordered had crawfish as an ingredient listed on the menu but there was no crawfish whatsoever. When we brought that up to the waitress she brought out one small ketchup packet size plate of crawfish even though 3 of us ordered this dish. Not at all acceptable for a 4 star venue on a Friday night , spend your money elsewhere with better service/food

Brunch is amazing!! I would go into detail, but that would make this post a bit long. I came right before Mardi Gras, after not visiting for over 2 years. I had the fried oyster eggs Benedict.... WOW! I could speak at all while eating. It was amazing! The service was pretty slow this Sunday and we were HUNGRY! Which was the only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars across the board.
