Serious Pie is a specialty gourmet pizza restaurant in Seattle, Washington. Our small office staff needed a place to honor a colleague who will be moving on to bigger and greater things. The sad/happy occasion was all the more special because it was at the expanded Serious Pie-Downtown Seattle. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly like old friends, we were served by a friendly, cheerful member of their kind and courteous waitstaff; and, well the pizzas were amazing. What a treat!

It took over an hour and 15 minutes for us to get our food and our server did not communicate with us more than once during that entire wait time. Even to get a simple drink refill took over 20 minutes. Once our food came, we had large chunks of clam shell in our clam pizza that was discovered by one person in our party painfully biting down on it. The pizza was replaced, but we were surprised that they did not take it off of the bill or offer a free appetizer or dessert given how long we waited. The ambience was nice and the food okay, but we will not be eating there again.

I can honestly say that this was the saltiest pizza I (and my family) have ever eaten in my entire life. My group of 10 ordered five different pizzas, and three of them were so salty that they were nearly inedible. If we weren't so hungry, we honestly would have passed on them. Even bad pizza is still pizza, but at this price point, you'd expect to at least not be drowning in salt. Additionally, the restaurant was out of two of their salads. This isn't a deal breaker by any means, but it is a bit surprising to be unable to serve two of the few salads on their menu.

I booked a table for 7pm. We had 8 people. I called at 7.10 to say I would be a little late. The restaurant said they were cancelling the table order AND charging us. then put the phone down. Avoid

Good time for a team lunch after 2.5 years of work from home. Good pizza, good beer, good service. Lunch time on Friday wasn’t too crowded (most people aren’t return to office), so had a more intimate ambience.

There is a lack of reasonably priced dinner spots for team dinners downtown right now, particularly on a Tuesday night. Serious Pie was a good, but not great option. Service and atmosphere was great, food was good but pizzas were too much crust not enough toppings. They did a nice job catering to a range of food preferences including a vegan in the group. I wish Tom Douglas would bring back some of his other restaurant options.

Friendly staff, food arrived quickly, loved the roasted Brussel sprout Cesar. Pizza is always great too, very consistent. My favorite is the mushroom.

Had a nice birthday celebration! We were supposed to be nine people. We got the most spacious table as compared to other restaurants! Waitress was doubly nice -- made me feel special on my birthday and helped us take lots of pictures! :)

Everyone was very friendly and accomodating, especially considering we had only an hour to eat and drink. They clearly considered the special message attached to our reservation and were super responsive and thoughtful. Not to mention, the salads and pizzas were DELISH!

Again, just a wonderfully fun experience for all of us- my daughter loves the place (as do all of us) and selected if for her 29th birthday. The night was great, warm and causal yet amazing Pies and super cool service by everyone involved. This place is SERIOUSLY A+

Came for lunch with a group of friends. Server very nice and gave me a taster of wine because I couldn’t decide. Food excellent though I wish there was more leeway with pizza customization. And smaller salad size options. Otherwise food was excellent. Yum

Serious Pie is seriously amazing pizza! We visited this location on vacation from California and loved the pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection with truly fresh ingredients you could taste. I highly recommend trying this spot if you are in the downtown Seattle area.
