   Wow, what a discovery in my neighborhood. Excellent food, friendly and prompt staff and so close to home. Don't let the unobstusive front discourage you. I'll be back again and again.

   Serge Bistro is a great local spot. The food is delicious, well priced and nice portion sizes. The owner serves as host and often waiter and is very charming, interactive and attentive. I've been here 3 times and never disappointed. Don't be fooled by the storefront exterior. It's a cozy, nice ambience to to enjoy a meal with family and friends.

   The lamb shank was falling off the bone as it should and was very tasty. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and the owner very friendly.. Perfect for our pre-opera no-fuss dinner.

   Excellent food and service. Small place with relatively few tables in middle of non descript block on 2nd Avenue. A nice find.

   Service and food were exceptional. Truly enjoyed the experience. This was my fourth time to Serge Bistro and all of the meals were great.

   In the neighborhood the is fast becoming Manhattan's new Gold Coast, Serge Bistro is a find. Serge will personally greet you , make dietary adjustments to recipes and sometimes even treat you to an a Capella melody. I go there at least once a week. A great Bistro menu is complimented with daily specials. The fish is always fabulous.

   The food was good, the look of the place is good, service was fine (we were served by Serge) but for the entire time we were there, we were the only ones!

    What are we doing for dinner tonight? If the response is "I don't know", then the answer is "Let's go to Serge". I have been there at least once a week since they relocated from Madison Ave and have never been disappointed. In addition to Frech specialitie such as frogs legs, and moules frites, they make an outstanding chessburger or salmon burger. The grilled octopus salad listed as an appetizer is a good choice for a main course, For dessert, I adore the floating island. I brough gluten intolerant friends on Saturday night and they were thrilled to have so many choices for both main course and dessert that met their dietary needs,
