The service was impecable. The variety of food was perfect for a lunch meeting, And the price was moderate. We were allowed to take our time prior to ordering and after our lunch. A very nice experience.

Nice ambiance but completely too expensive for what it is. About 50 per entree and you are left non satisfied. Food does not justify the price. Drinks are about a shots worth with a large block of ice, 13 dollars for a shot, also not worth it. Service is mainly good. Would not return. Too many other places to try.

Post valentine dinner. Arrived in a snowstorm. Dinner reservation was 8:30. Sat right away. My husband loved the lobster soup. Raved for days. I had the grilled octopus appetizer. Over cooked and way too many potatoes. After we ordered dinner we noticed people around us being served food that wasn't on the menu. Our waiter told us that it was from a different bar menu. We didn't know that was an option and never saw one. He brought over some of the items we asked about. When our dinner came. The rack of lamb was delicious. The halibut was too salty and sent back. Dessert was amazing.
The room we sat in was very noisy and it was difficult to hear each other.

Always love going here. The service is outstanding. The dishes are all wonderful. We had the filet and the halibut special. Both were perfect! They have wonderful bread as well as homemade popcorn for the gluten-free peeps in your party. This will cost ~$75/person at a minimum. A bit pricey but nice for a special occasion.

This is a NYC style restaurant. We came with friends for dinner at 6pm on a Saturday night. You enter near the bar, which was crowded and noisy. It's a tight space and you need to maneuver to the coat check and restrooms. We had a table in the upstairs loft, which was less noisy. Our waiter was good, but didn't gauge when to come by. Instead, he just interrupted to do what he needed to do. We asked if we could chat a bit after the meal, and he said 5 minutes. The other waiter, hearing this, said stay as long as you want. The menu is creative with healthy options. The selections are familiar, but prepared with a twist and some flair. The presentation is lovely. My selections --- the pumpkin soup with chestnut garnish and the organic chicken were tasty. My husband had the fish, which he said was okay. Our friends loved their choices, which included the short rib tortellini appetizer and the tuna entree. The bread included sourdough rolls (unfortunately, I hate sourdough), and potato rolls and biscuits, which were nice. The drinks are well prepared and presented. The wine list is extensive. I've been to Restaurant Serenade many times before, and have even hosted business luncheons and dinners there. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, but it very much depends on what you're looking for. We prefer a more sedate atmosphere, which was not the case on a Saturday night. A weekday night is more manageable. But, if you're looking for upscale and elegant, this is a nice choice, although pricey. Reservations are a must.

Disappoint experience all around. Given the reviews and the pricing I had high hopes for this restaurant. We were seated for ten minutes before anyone came over with a drink menu. When someone did, we had assumed he was a sommelier because he came with the wine list and didn’t identify who he was. The wine list was absurd. Very few good wines at a reasonable price point. We asked for a few recommendations for a flavor profile similar to a wine on the list that we really like but didn’t want to order becusse we have it all the time and were looking for something different. The only similarly in the wine was the price— the wine recommended was almost tasteless. Horrible recommendation with no similarity whatsoever to the wine we used as a comparison. We assumed this guy was a sommelier but turned out he was a server. He should have recommended we speak to the sommelier.... but I’m guessing there wasn’t one because I didn’t see anyone talking to any tables about wine.
Food— I ordered the salad which was a special and it was very salty. Disappointing to say the least. I asked for a filet medium well closer to well. I did this because I find in fine dining restaurants chefs are opposed to cooking a steak anything but rare. In most steakhouses when I order this way, they suggest a medium it butterflied and it works every time. That didn’t happen here... I got an overly well done steak that was so dry I drank an entire bottle of pelligrino. And the minimal accompanying sauce didn’t do anything to help out.
We waited forever for our check.
We wanted to have a drink at the bar but it was too crowded. Not a pleasant atmosphere to end dinner so we just left
Needless to say, we won’t be going back
