If it was not for the generous gift certificate we would not have dined here twice in the last two months. Each experience the service was great. We sat at a bar high table both times. Atmosphere we enjoyable. Special appetizer: mozzarella and mixed color tomatoes was fresh and very good Chicken Milanese was good, not great. Lobster bisque was super watery, not even sure what other to say than it was nasty,$17 waste. Light pink water with a chunk of lobster. Tuna special very flavorful but 3 slices of tuna. It was punitive not $46 entrees size. Filet was very good size, flavor was ok, and they just could not get the temperature correct, medium was raw, you can tell by easily just tapping the top of the steak with the knife it was not the correct temperature, too bouncy. Overall, prices are way too high for the quality. I’ll pay $100 for an entree to enjoy it. I am not wowed with this place even less so by how much they charge for drinks, app and $15 dessert just throws this place off my recommendation list. Unless someone else is offering to pay. I’ll pass. And I’m all over the map with my meal options. From LA to NYC and beyond.

I always have a great experience at Serenade! The food and service are always excellent! Last night several members of my party ordered the specials- the tomato salad and the seared tuna - both were huge hits!!!

So I've been here many times but this time it was way less than what I expect in terms of food and service. First, I walked in and saw the hostess on the phone. She motioned for me to wait, which I did for a few minutes. And she kept talking, instead of asking the person on the phone to hold a second while she dealt with the real person in front of her. And by the way it was completely uncrowded and not very busy. Finally I saw my party had been seated, and went and sat myself. The food was ok, but not spectacular. The tuna special was a bit overcooked and way over salted. And dessert was not exciting. My husband's peach cobbler was sort of soggy and runny and my lemon tart was underwhelming. Table service was pretty good. But not spectacular. I had indicated in the reservation that it was my birthday. My husband also told the waiter, and they put the candle in my friend's dessert. So then when they realized their error they gave it to me to blow out (i.e. spit all over her dessert) and then gave it to her. They did bring me an additional chocolate cake to go after we were done. Which was nice. It just wasn't the go-to 5-star experience I've come to expect at Serenade. It was expensive and only slightly above mediocre.

Great place. Food, service, etc. Only issue was waiter gave us two wines to try, both mediocre, and a glass costs $33, which we found out when we got the bill.

Very intimate dining setting with very attentive service. The prix fix menu is a great value for extremely tasty and generous portions. Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend for an intimate date night or a family dinner in a more private environment.

Jose served us, backed up by the rest of the impeccable team at Serenade. Jose was wonderful. The service is first-rate and always runs like clockwork. The food: Elegant, savory and sophisticated. Superb wine list, reasonably priced. Always a treat to go here!

We have gone to Serenade for our anniversary dinner every year for approximately the past 15 years. The restaurant has progressively moved away from the exceptional dining experience it was when we first started going. In an attempt to perhaps have a more contemporary feel, it has instead become old, tired and unexceptional.

We had a great meal. It was the Sunday of Labor Day weekend so the restaurant wasn't very crowed. We all enjoyed our food. Two of us had the filet and two the halibut. Everyone was happy with their food and the service was great.

The food at Serenade is always exceptional, creative, and delicious. Service is attentive without being intrusive. Noise level is low! It has been our go-to restaurant for anniversary and special occasions for years. Unfortunately, prices have gone way up, and portions seem smaller, which is true of every other restaurant, unfortunately. We therefore don't go as much as we used to. But other than that, it's still one of the best restaurants around, in our opinion.

Wonderful service and food! The wines by the glass are insultingly expensive ($19 a glass for the only rose on the menu, and it’s a brand I have seen in the liquor store, and it is NOT an expensive wine!) but the food was delicious! I ordered my filet mignon medium rare and it came out between medium and medium well, but I wasn’t sending it back.
