Serena Rooftop is an open-air terrace restaurant and bar located on the second floor of the Moxy South Beach Hotel. Modeled after Oaxaca’s iconic rooftops, Serena serves cocktails and contemporary Mexican cuisine for brunch, lunch and dinner. A domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea shelters the all-outdoor dining area. Serena Rooftop is a beautiful outdoor restaurant complete with a domed canopy made of cast iron and strung with twinkling lights and bougainvillea in addition to an electric roof, to be enjoyed all year round.

PARKING: We offer $5 valet parking if you have a Florida license or use code SERENA24 for a first ride FREE with Alto (up to $60 value).

Please note we serve a limited menu daily from 3:30PM to 6PM as well as Happy Hour from 3PM-6PM.

The food wasn’t seasoned. Branzino had no flavor. Our table ordered family style to try a few dishes and we were all underwhelmed. The best thing we ate was the guacamole. The service wasn’t attentive and for the birthday my friend didn’t get the b-day churros.

They didn’t come back to our table for 25+ min so we left without being served more than water. The other staff even told the server we were ready and they still didn’t come

Not sure why this place has such good reviews. Drinks were not made correctly and tasted of straight bitters. Food took forever to come out and got two small tacos with fish the size of chicken nuggets for over $20. Tuna tartar had absolutely no flavor. Ambience was the only good thing along with water refills. Not worth the money at all.

This is a nice place to get a gigantic drink or just a chill spot after a long day of beaching , great warm up place before clubbing

Visiting from out of town and decided to try this restaurant for the food but also the rooftop reviews. Service was excellent and food overall was very good, only negative was the rice ordered as a side dish was lacking flavor. Overall very happy and would visit again

We went on a Thursday night and the experience was amazing, delicious tacos, very good margaritas, our server was very attentive and friendly, very good vibe, highly recommended.

Nice roof top venue w entertaining Fire Girl. Plates are small and expensive. Cocktails were excellent yet also pricey. Friendly staff and in trendy Moxy hotel
