   It was a terrible experience because Open Table confirmed my reservation but this location of Serafina had already been permanently closed. I will never use Open Table again.

   Lovely neighbor eatery with casual dining ambience. Delicious food, well prepared. Our server Taras made our evening. He was attentive with a smile and had a quiet cool about him. Will return.

   Food was mediocre at best, ravioli served cold, Brussel sprouts had no taste, bread 3 tiny stale pieces tasted like it had been sitting there for days. Service was nonexistent, waited for bread basket for 30 minutes and food for over an hour and never had a real server. The hostess had to take our order. Seems like no one is in charge. Serafina upper management should rethink how they are running this what has become a chain restaurant. Wanted to like it, it’s in the neighborhood near union square on University Place but a complete bust.

   We dine at Serafina on University Place every few weeks. We find the staff and hostesses Brittany & Hanah + Tas to be excellent.

   Delicious fine food. Great wine selection and taste. Really nice Ambiance and impeccable service. Would definitely visit again.

   Server wasn’t friendly, said yesterdays fish was being served today, I was eating and my plate was constantly being taken away while still finishing the food on my plate. Please train your servers. Love the restaurant and food but there needs to be better service and attention to detail. Don’t tell me you don’t have seltzer when you do and you just don’t know what that means because they don’t call it where you’re from.

   Lovely dining experience, all around. We were very satisfied with the delicious pastas and risotto ordered. The service was exceptionally good -- personable and professional at once. A new favorite place!
