Food was terrible and staff was unfriendly.
They forgot the birthday candle
Nice brunch, big portion. Very delicious.
Food is good but service is terrible. Especially annoying considering how overpriced the food is.
There are a large range of pasta choices, which I love. Pastas are offered on a scale of plain, traditional to decadent and fancy. Prices are a little high, but if you are looking for a nice night out with a promising meal this is a good place to go.
There was lots of young parent with baby in a stroller.
Serafina never disappoints! The service is great and very fast. The food is always outstanding. Highly recommend this place!
Horrible service, will not return to patronize this establishment.
Very good, nice wines. Salads are large and inventive. I like the tuna tartar and carpaccio. Ask them to hold the sauce.
We made the mistake of going to Serafina two meals in a row- a Saturday evening and Sunday for brunch. The food was quite good (albeit overpriced); however, the service was terrible- it didn't help that we ended up with the same server both times!
For our Saturday evening meal, we were never offered a kids menu (nor were we aware they had them) or crayons. We had to get up to find someone to track down our server several times throughout the meal. He was unapologetic about the extreme delays and was generally MIA. The entire meal (for which we didn't even order appetizers) took over 2 hours.
We ended up with the same server for a late brunch on Sunday- at which time we were offered a children's menu and crayons. Despite a lovely and attentive busboy, our server was again completely MIA. We had to ask two different people to find him just so we could order our drinks/food- and then had the same issue with the check. Never offered bread. I felt terrible because the busboy was doing his very best, but our server was virtually non-existent and non-apologetic.
Either they are chronically understaffed (as we were there on a Saturday early dinner and late Sunday brunc- neither of which appeared very busy) or we were unfortunate to have the same uncommunicative, absent server.
Excelente lugar para comer pasta y pizza de las mejores que he comido en NY el restaurante muy lindo y el servicio. De lo mejor . Recomiendooooooooo
Outstanding value, great food and attentive service.
Good and fast service. Dinner was great. Waiter’s recommendations for the night were spot on.
Horrible service - the slowest we have ever experienced. Ignored for about 45 minutes just to get the check.
Always good food at a reasonable price...ask for Nikolai
Good variety of menu items, especially the salads, but the price was a bit high for both the serving size and quality of the food. On the whole this restaurant was just average nothing spectacular, but it was a nice location for lunch with friends.
Todo estuvo delicioso!!!! Súper recomendado
The continental breakfast from the hotel next door is served within the restaurant space.
The waitstaff and female GM were rude and not accommodating in the slightest. When asked to have the entrees brought out after the appetizers (a very fair and normal request) the dishes were all brought out together. When we alerted the waitstaff, they took the dish, only to return it to us later, cold and hardened. When we asked to speak to the GM she was rude, aggressive and walked away mid-sentence. There are far better restaurants in TriBeCa, will not give the time of day to this location again.
Wonderful meal and service. Would go back in a second.
The meal and overall experience was pleasant. I would recommend Serfina.
Food was good. Attentive service except the server forgot to order one of the items we ordered for take out and we didn’t realize it until we got home.
We had a nice, relaxing meal. The vegetable pizza was very good. We all liked our entrees, including penne a la vodka and pasta primavera. The service was good and they did not rush us despite the fact that we had to wait a while for some of the people in our group to arrive. We had a very pleasant evening.
Perfect place for getting together with friends. Staff is very friendly.
not friendly or welcoming staff
waiter decided to check out on us as soon as we ordered
no drink refills, didn't ask if we were finished or if we wanted dessert
not attentive at all
great food - great service ... the open air is a nice feel, but a little humid in the summer. Good for any meal.
Our group of 7 arrived for our 7:30pm reservations..our table was ready and waiting for us. The service was good and the meal well paced. We split a few pizzas as appetizers which were crisp and super tasty. Everyone ordered pastas and was very happy with their meal. One meal arrived but it was incorrect - the person ordered penne not spaghetti as listed on the menu. The waiter immediately took it back-- we thought it would take forever to bring out the correct dish, but within just few minutes a new meal came to the table! Very impressed. Overall a very enjoyable meal.
Good predictable restaurant with good wine recommendation by server and wine steward.
My husband and I went to Seraphina for dinner and really enjoyed it. We shared the best calamari appetizer - very lightly coated and absolutely delicious! My seafood black ink pasta was excellent , very generous serving of seafood, and my husband's pizza on a thin crust was a real treat. The next time we are in NYC we will definitely go there.
Great experience and wonderful hostess . Top customer service skills ! D . Iseson
I thought the food was overpriced. I had swordfish that was sliced thin - don't know why - and it was very salty. Plus overpriced for the lack of quality.
Pizza was described as having fresh basil and olives. It arrived with ONE basil leaf and three olives. If I’d known that I would have ordered the plain pizza for $3 less. Three dollars for one lousy basil leaf and three olives? Serafina can do better.
The food is delicious. Wonderful pizza, great environment. Staff is friendly and conscientious.
service is consistently horrendous. food was decent, but the service was just so terrible.
We had a reservation and ended up at the bar because there was a large party upstairs. The large party freaked everyone out. Bartender was complaining, no one seemed to know what was going on. I ordered avocado toast. I asked for no onions or tomatoes. Both were in my food and the poached eggs had egg shells in them. I probably won’t ever go back. And we had had to use a horrible bathroom.
The food was delicious and the service was wonderful.
Great service at Serafina Tribeca, but our appetizers came very late and my steak was overcooked! It was pretty noisy and the bathrooms are upstairs. Salads and fish were delicious though. Great place to catch up with friends.
Noise level was horrendous and deafening. Very close seating. Area is too small to accommodate diners. Very unpleasant evening. That, combined with poor service, small portions and mediocre food, will guarantee that we won't return to this neighborhood spot.
For the cost the food other than the appetizers (which were very good) was distinctly plain and unimaginative. If you go here avoid the main courses.
Good spot for a business breakfast. Big tables to look at documents and low noise level. Also, they don’t mind if you linger.
