The ritual of coming together sharing wine and food with family and friends is the central motif in our lives. Italian food has an immediacy, honesty, and warmth; it possesses the spirit of a grandmother's wisdom and love. Italian food isn't about trailblazing alchemy or edible high fashion; Italian food is about staying connected—to each other, to the past, to the earth.

Outstanding service, thoughtful presentation and exceptional food!!! Best meal we’ve enjoyed in Seattle this trip.
The food was great and had some good choices for vegetarians. Ambience and location was amazing.
We sat on the patio underneath a shady awning. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the ambience, starting our evening with the amazing stuffed squash blossoms. We also loved the Pane plate...beautiful bread. My melanzane was amazing, as always. It is hard for me to move to other mealselections, because I love it so much. I am presently eating my left-overs from last night, as I write this review.
excellent service, food and drinks! The perfect spot for a date night
Beautiful outdoor seating area. Staff was welcoming.
It’s was a retirement dinner with my longest-closest friend. We requested an outdoor table and moments after being seated another party sat adjacent to us. This was fine until the waiter rolled the PROPANE HEATER between our tables. Who uses propane heat on JULY 16? We asked the waiter to turn down the heat twice. Drinks were wonderful, appetizers were fabulous. We requested spitting the pasta and the secondi. BOTH the dishes came at the same time. Obviously the waiter had not conveyed to the kitchen that we were splitting each course. WE had to split the pasta to separate tiny plates, while the Secondi sat on the table in front of us getting cold. What iItalian restaurant doesnt know about a pasta course, then a Secondi, following. It was very disappointing as I have had great al fresco dinners there each summer. I’ll go again but make it extremely clear how I want my dinner served and sitting on the table in front of us getting stone cold. Disappointing.
Overall good food and portions were reasonable for the price. I found my salmon to be a bit underwhelming but I enjoyed our appetizers except the octopus which was rubbery
Great food and service! Lovely tables outside. Highly recommend!
This was my husband and I’s second wedding anniversary we were looking for a special place to go out since being at home for over a year in lock down. Before the pandemic we had been to Cichetti several times and loved it. Since they combined the two restaurants we decided to go to Serafina to celebrate. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The drinks were good, but the food was not. The bread was somewhat stale and cold, we ordered the bruschetta it was ok a little bland, but the kicker was the entree. We ordered salmon, the vegetables tasted like old freezer vegetables some overcooked some under cooked with a freezer burn taste. The salmon was rubbery. We told the server and she was nice about it and tried to make it right. But the food was a big disappointment especially for a place where I’ve had really good food prior the pandemic. For the price as well the food should be fresh.
Food is ex excellent. Really a nice special occasion restaurant!
Delicious! Serafina has always been worth the drive into the city for a special ending to a special day. Starting with the Bruschetta, its 3 delightfully different toppings pleased us. The non fish eater liked the smoked fish aioli, the not-so-wild about tappenade enjoyed this one laced with peppers. Our pasta was a hit too. The Bucatini Carbanara and the spicy Rigatoni Bolognese with perfect partners for shared dishes. Glad to be back.
I can’t say enough about Serafini. The food is always prepared and served to perfection. The team that runs the restaurant keeps everything smooth and relaxed. A great place to eat, drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
It was such a great meal! One of my favorites ever. Our server, Melinda, was lovely.
The ultimate in Seattle romantic dining without blowing a ridiculous amount of money. Quality & comfort to match anything, as always.
Amazing staff, extremely tasty food. Felt like we were in a small pasta restaurant in Florence!
Welcoming. Quiet earlier then grows to moderate ambiance around 7:30ish. We are fine with either. Food was AMAZING - halibut and cavatelli were delicious. The bruschetta had excellent choices and delicious bread - serves two easily. Raffael provided excellent service with good humor. And, for dessert, the mango tart or the flourless chocolate cake were very well received. The portions are perfect to enjoy all three courses.
Beautiful evening on the patio under the wisteria. Delicious food - bruschetta, pasta Norma and halibut. Lovely wine selection by the glass paired well with our dishes. Excellent service.
Food, as always, was delicious. Service was fantastic. The atmosphere sitting out on the patio was lovely.
Serafina is my favorite restaurant in Seattle.
Birthday dinner was great!
Wow! A post-Covid super come back.
Serafina was better than ever this week. Amazing service and food.
Can’t wait to go back!
Serafina is always a special place for a special dinner, a sweet dinner alone or a place to celebrate. They can do it all. dish was delicious. From appetizers of grilled octopus to steak tatare to perfectly cook halibut, it was all just right and prices are reasonable.
We sat in the garden and everything was excellent. The lasagna and carbonara were tasty choices. We’ll go again
A hidden gem. The food was outstanding and the service was perfect. We really loved the whole dining experience.
I love Serafina. The food is exquisite. The outdoor patio is delightful.
Food was amazing, service was great! 10/10 would go again!
Great food, drinks, and ambiance! Love Serafina
Fantastic…Best Patio in town
It has been so long but what a treat to return to Serafina and it's wonderful staff all around. Beautiful food, heavenly flavorful, caring and attentive service with just the right amount of presence, lovely serene ambiance on the romantic patio where sipping a white sangria makes for a delightful evening. Thank you Serafina.
The service, food, and ambience were all wonderful. It was our first restaurant outing in 15 months for a celebratory birthday on the outdoor patio. Perfect.
Love so much about Serafina. Food is consistently great. Service is always consistently great. But our last experience was top notch. Our server was clearly at the top of their industry and our food was delightful. Thanks for always being a great neighborhood place to dine. We appreciate all that you bring to our community.
Food quality very good - portions a bit small for the price
The food was overcooked. Had Arancini for appetizer and they were too dark and over fried. Had Polpo for next course and it was charred to a crisp. I could not taste the octopus only the burnt outside. I ordered halibut for entree and it was over cooked and dry. The prices demanded better technique. The server never came to the table to see if our food was ok. My guest had the lasagna and that was a winner.
Absolutely the most well run restaurant and the best food in Seattle. Most others don't even come close! We love Serafina!
Serafina is wonderful as always. From appetizers to dessert the meal was delicious. The service spectacular.
Very nice time for our large (10) party! We appreciate the efforts the staff made for us.
Exceeded all expectations! Food here is amazing and the ambience is peaceful/romantic.
Great to return to one of our all time favs.
Our first night out post pandemic.
New staff (to us) Chris, our server, helpful and informed.
Of course seeing our old friend Gabriel a real plus!!!
We had a very nice dinner. It seemed a bit busy, and we waited a bit, but the food was fantastic! Would definitely recommend.
Great good, amazing service.
My wife and I had a lovely anniversary dinner
