The ritual of coming together sharing wine and food with family and friends is the central motif in our lives. Italian food has an immediacy, honesty, and warmth; it possesses the spirit of a grandmother's wisdom and love. Italian food isn't about trailblazing alchemy or edible high fashion; Italian food is about staying connected—to each other, to the past, to the earth.

The Staff did a fabulous job of of making us feel comfortble at the resturant. Pleanty of open space and good food.
Great service. Great food. Great environment. Great for date night.
We had our now annual dinner at Serafina with our young adult children to celebrate birthdays and our anniversary. Serafina staff were warm and welcoming and we felt very comfortable with the separation between tables and their protocols for everyone wearing masks when the servers approach. The food was excellent from the anchovy toasts and mushroom risotto apps to our lamb and beef bolognese pasta and the lasagne. Wonderful night out.
We were so excited that Serafina opened back up on our 20th Anniversary. We were accommodated out on the patio, with only 2 other diners. Everything was respectfully social-distanced. We were prepped on the staff’s preventative measures, and what was expected of us (absolutely no problems and fully expected). We had a beautiful dinner and anniversary experience. Cannot wait to come back!
Delicious, well prepared food. Nice service. Sweet place.
This was my first time dining since the renovation and it felt as if nothing changed. Felt welcomed upon arrival with smiles and prompt service! The soup of the day (a celeriac and porcini) was delicious as was the special pasta.
Wonderful service, wonderful food. Looking forward to coming back soon!
The food was beautifully presented and rich with flavor
Great food and service. Fresh food and perfectly cooked. Server was super friendly.
Arrived late for 8:15 reservation. Apologized, people waiting to be seated. Staff very graciously accepted apology and got us seats ASAP, bit of a wait. The meal and service and ambience were wonderful.
I have been going to Serafina for over 20 years. It’s the best Italian restaurant in Seattle. Outstanding food and wines.
Great for lunch dates or a business lunch. Cozy and easy for conversations.
They’ve renovated the restaurant and it’s still got great charm yet is very lovely and updated inside. The menu is the same which is great because our same faves are there! Same great food and service and neighborhood charm!
Service very good. Food Excellent. A bit noisy. But the place was full.
Excellent food and service!
The food was excellent, Brian our server was amazing .
Delicious food, wonderful service, and a lovely spot for a cozy winter dinner.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Food as always was amazing.
Perfect Valentine’s Day dinner. Food, service, and ambiance were top notch.
Couldn't see the remodel they were just to have completed. Live music was excellent. Really good food except a crab spaghetti that was so powerfully spiced that you couldnt taste the crab. I had asked to not have a check brought to the table and they forgot to do that. Had called in with my credit card number etc. But it was slammed because it was Valentine's day so that should be taken into consideration. Overall a great evening.
we were there to celebrate our 49th anniversary. I noted that while making the reservation but the restaurant completely ignored that. However, each item that we ordered was spectacular! Our server was very attentive and pleasant. It remains one of our favorite places to eat.
I love this beautiful, intimate restaurant. It’s perfect for dates with my lovely wife. I took her there 3 years ago and she loved it then and loves it still. The service is always so attentive and kind. Can’t ask for a better place to celebrate with a certainly delicious meal.
Cauliflower soup was amazing and the rigatoni was sauced perfectly. The only thing missing was some good bread.
My partner and I live in Eastlake and this is a perfect Italian date-night venue. The food is always incredible and the service is outstanding. The staff is extremely helpful, provide opinions when asked, and do not pressure us into any wine outside of our price range.
Baird made our special occasion night out very enjoyable with attentive service, a great sense of humor and impeccable hospitality. We loved every bite of food from the bread to dessert. The pasta, the seafood, the wine - all incredible. Serafina holds a special place in our hearts!
Remodeling has remained faithful to the intimate, Mediterranean vibe while freshened up. Food is to the same exceptional standard (everything is obviously made by hand on site) and cocktail and wine list are classics. Staff make you feel like a favourite neighbour without ever being inauthentic. Just effortless indulgence. Perfect.
It was a very memorable experience. The food is outstanding, the staff were all friendly and professional, plus there was a parking lot within walking distance.
Wonderful as always!!!
Food and wine are great! Love it!
Food was decent-place was too loud. Service was mediocre.
This was our second time at Serafina. The first time everything was excellent 10/10 for the food. This time, 3 out of 6 of our party order the pasta di giorno- lobster tortellini which came highly recommended by our waiter. It was not good. Not at all. It was in a broth, no sauce, not much flavor and the pasta was very firm like quite under cooked maybe? It was a real bummer because the ambiance, service, drinks, etc were all fabulous.
Try the eggplant it’s amazing! Great service relaxed candlelight tables. Warm and inviting
Perfect New Years Eve - Thank you Serafina team it was awesome!
Noise level was so high, my partner and I could not hear each other, and we were seated super close, in a corner. The food was good, but there was so very little of it. Service was good, but we ended up with an item that I was allergic to, in the bread, even though I specified that I did not want anything with pepper in it.
It was wonderful. Amazing food.
Has been a few years - pleased to find that this continues to be outstanding food served graciously.
Lovely and elegant ambiance. Server really tried to accommodate us, but the kitchen couldn’t make anything we wanted without heaps of pre-seasoned black pepper on every meat and seafood dish. We paid $66 for bread, water, one glass of rather nice wine, and bland pasta (as in there was little other than pasta in the pasta dish). This all suggested to us that the chef relies entirely on overuse of pepper to generate taste in the dishes. They saw on my OpenTable reservation that I can not tolerate spice (causes dangerous autoimmune disease flare — not just a preference but something I simply must insist on). Yet they were utterly flummoxed and could only recommend one main dish (spaghetti with literally nothing other than tomato sauce with slices of garlic) on the entire menu that could accommodate the very simple request that black pepper or chili flakes be left out. We were underwhelmed.
This has become our go to restaurant for special occasions. The food was fantastic and we like the lively atmosphere.
12/19/2019 it was just what I wanted to celebrate my birthday with 3 very dear friends. Stormy night and felt lovely at Serafina.
Portions were tiny. We were overcharged for a cheese plate and the pasta plate was a speck. It was when they were getting read to close for the afternoon. I will never go back. I was hungry after I had spent $95. for nothing.
As always, Serafina delivered! The service, ambiance and food was extraordinary. Beth, our server, knew the menu backwards and front. The entrees were delicious and inventive. Overall - Serafina delivers on all front.
