The food was nothing special. Lacking in presentation and flavor. The decor was very nice and great for a date or a special occasion.
Service was terrific and food fantastic!
Very good food but very slow service
Food just average. Servers kept running away. We asked to share two dishes and they dropped the food on the table without serving spoons and without plates.
Staff generally look only at the table they are serving. We had to stand up to Hawt their attention.
Will not return until they improve their customer service.
It took a while for the food to come out, but the staff were attentive and offered us some perks for the wait. The noise level was loud. The food was very tasty!
My ravioli dish was undercooked. My wife and daughters pasta dishes were very bland.
Food was good and in line with Westchester County's abundance of ex excellent Italian choice. Service was subpar and unattentive though, and not consistent with the relatively high prices charged
Over 30 minutes to get drinks and over an hour for appetizers. Food was ok but way too expensive for what it was.
Excellent well trained staff, beautiful restaurant and excellent cuisine.
Overall Very very good. Took a long time for our cocktails to be served. Music was a bit too loud.
Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was very friendly.
For a restaurant that has multiple locations, the service was great. Obviously well trained management and servers. However, we had a little gnat issue where we were sitting. The management gave us a discount on our meal and a complementary dessert.
Ordered the special fish of day and was not told the price. The bill came and it was $44! This restaurant should not be charging that much for an entree as it not culinary mecca but a simple Italian trattoria. Food is average and overpriced, service is attentive, ambiance is nice and lively.
Excellent dinner, but service was just okay.
The best branzino - absolutely delicious! Great service! We eat here a lot and always enjoy ourselves.
Caesar salad and Penne a la vodka were good - but not as great as the Branzino…
Food took a long time to get to us. It was just salad and pasta. Didn’t know why.
Server was attentive but kitchen took awhile to cook two caccio e pepe.
As an Italian, I expect a lot from a restaurant that calls itself authentic Italian.
I was pleasantly surprised.
The pasta and pizza were both excellent. Whole family were happy with their meals.
Service was attentive and friendly .
I would say the music could be a tad bit lower in volume, but that is a personal preference.
Will go again.
We waited 45 mins for our initial drink order. Service was awful/embarrassing. Overpriced food for very mediocre quality. I’ve had better salads from diners—not enough flavor/dressing, hastily thrown together. Presentation was lacking, too. Highly disappointing experience. Won’t be going back.
The restaurant was about 40% full on a Sunday, and yet we waited 45 minutes for our meal. I mentioned that we had been waiting and was told it was coming in 4 minutes. Fifteen minutes later it finally arrived, 45 minutes after ordering. No effort to ameliorate the situation was made with taking anything off the bill, or gratis drinks for example. I had noted on the reservation that this was our anniversary dinner and requested a nice table. Absolutely no attention was paid to that. The waitress was very pleasant but a bit clueless. The food was just OK, but we didn't bother ordering another drink, coffee or dessert. No apologies for the late food when we received our bill. Very disappointing. We do not intend to go back. Very underwhelming. The restaurant that Serafina replaced in this location, Fig & Olive, was much better.
Trendy feel, space had cool vibe, beautiful long bar to have a drink before dinner or eat at, Alessandro the Maitre’d was very accommodating. Phil the bartender was great. Good service at table, shrimp salad was awesome, steak and fries a must.
A slightly pricey but really safe restaurant. Everything we ate was wonderful. Fave was a truffled creamy pasta.
Missing Fig & Olive! Their menu was much more interesting. This menu is your typical Italian food. I had the salmon which was overcooked. The spinach was old and tough. At least chop it if you’re going to serve tough spinach! Hubby’s penne with spicy vodka sauce was better. We dined outdoors so not much ambiance but walking through the dining room I noted it was ice cold. We’ll try it again but I’ll stick with the pizza or pasta. Otherwise we have other restaurants we like more.
Excellent fish dish, great service, pleasant ambiance. Tough making a reservation. We will be back
Very glad to have Serafina open in Eastchester! The pizza is always wonderful. The Branzino was outstanding! Looking forward to returning soon.
Very pleasant, fun atmosphere, but most of the dishes we ordered - as well as the service, left us disappointed. We got the impression that the problems were due more to too many inexperienced servers and inadequate training of their staff, rather than just being newly opened. Our waitress mispronounced dishes and basic wine names, and wasn't able to answer even basic questions about a few dishes on the menu. Other servers seemed to trip over each other, dropped items, flooded a seated table with water and ice while pouring glasses, and never checked back once food was served. A better mix of experienced and new servers would have helped, and ALL SERVERS should be familiar with the menu! The prices are rather high, and for a menu that boasts that ingredients come from Italy, we expected more from the food. The burrata for the appetizer was delicious and creamy, but the tomatoes accompanying it were extremely disappointing, (good ones are abundant this time of year!). We ordered two pasta dishes and one fish dish, and can't say any of them are anything we'd order again. The Rigatoni alla Bolognese sauce was OK... but too smokey and the meat too finely ground, and the Tagliolini al Tartufo Nero tasted as though they really skimped (or forgot?) to add the truffles. Paying $35 for such a pasta dish felt like a true rip-off. As for the Bass in Pinot Grigio, why was it sweet? Nothing in the description alluded to this surprising and off-flavor and server didn't mention it either. Sorry to write an unfavorable review, but unless we plan to come back for just drinks, appetizers and maybe pizza, this restaurant comes across as poorly managed and overpriced, so it won't be high on our list.
The service was so slow. although our appetizer came in quick but the entrees took over an hour. The food tasted mediocre nothing spectacular. It was very loud and difficult to have a decent conversation.
Food and service was excellent! I loved the cheese and spinach ravioli in a butter basil sauce and my family enjoyed each of their dishes as well. The tiramisu was delicious. Can’t wait to try brunch!
