Serafina Downtown Boston
Veal average. Burrata for desert good. Forgot appetizer!
Jammed on a Tuesday Night. What does that tell you? Great place to meet after work for good food and conversation.
Wonderful meal! Superb service!
We were looking forward to a nice setting and quiet lunch in the financial district after our biennial visit with a financial advisor. Serafina was convenient. But it was jammed for the lunch hours and had little ambience with tables jammed together and a high level of noise which we hate. Wrong choice! The burrata with smoked salmon was very good and the ravioli dish with sage butter was decent. No complaints on the food.
Just go off the lunch hour!
BEAUTIFUL location- my food was absolutely incredible. I love it there.
Really good food and good service too. Prices very reasonable. Only complaint is how loud it was. Don't go with a soft-talker.
It was very loud. A bit difficult to have a conversation.
I love this place and it is reasonably priced and great for small and large groups.
The food was nothing to write home about, you can find much better in the north end less than a mile away. The service was non-existent. Our waiter maybe said 10 words to us over the course of 2+ hours and there was a standard addition of 20% to the bill for his tip which explains his lack of effort. We waited extensively for anything we needed. Not worth it at all.
Everything was fantastic. Five of us went for a work dinner. Drinks were great, food was great, service was great. The only thing I would change would be adding fresh brewed espresso to the espresso martini.
Our waitress was so accommodating. The pizza and pasta were delicious. The Burrata was the best we’ve had.
We arrived early for lunch (11:30) and service was very good at that time, taking our order, etc. However, it filled up very quickly (it's the holiday season) so much so that it seemed as though extra tables were put out and service staff were squeezing by our table with armloads of food. There were large groups celebrating so it was very noisy. We could not find our server to get the check, and once we did he was obviously busy and ran over and dropped it on our table. I would go back another time, but never during the holiday season with large and loud groups (and probably not enough servers). The room has a very high noise level.
We did not like one of the entrées and our server, Caesar, was kind enough to get it changed to a different one without charging us for the first one!
Ambience is great, and the music is not loud.
I wasn't sure what to expect from Serafina but I was very happy with the outcome. The food was very tasty and filling. The wine list has some great values to choose from. We didn't make it to dessert as we were so stuffed from dinner. Free street parking is pretty easy in the evening as all the commercial spots open up after 7pm. Would definitely return to this location.
It was a very busy night, we had reservations and were seated right away. The staff was attentive and knowlegable with all of our questions about the food on the menu. the food was delicious and the cocktails were fabulous!
We had a very nice meal at Serafina. The service, atmosphere and value were all perfect for a nice holiday out in Boston. I would recommend it to all.
Great service. My food was excellent. My mother’s food was good. Very noisy though which is not our thing.
The curtains really should be closed when it’s cold outside. We were freezing sitting at a table behind the hostess desk because the curtains were left open.
Best white truffle experience in Boston!
Our server was so welcoming and gracious in helping me customize a dish around my dietary restrictions. I had the farfalle limoncello with GF pasta instead of farfalle, and it was delicious. We had an excellent anniversary dinner!
I love this restaurant. Great service, excellent food and they cater to food allergies. Beautiful set up. I love coming here. The only complaint is when you are seated it can be hard to hear the people you are with, due to how loud it is by the bar.
I’ve been working downtown in the financial district for 20 years, and this has been my go-to lunch spot for 3 years. It’s perfect for business meetings, as well as everyday dining with co-workers. The service is professional, and timely. I can always get in and out in 45 minutes no matter what I order. The pizza, pastas, and steak frites will never disappoint. The salads are great, and if you order chicken with the salad it tastes freshly cooked. Can not recommend more.
We unfortunately felt we were often forgotten by our server but it was clear he had way too many tables and couldn’t possibly be attentive to everyone. We had to frequently ask for other workers to assist us. They need to be better staffed. Food was okay.
Food was excellent but the noise - just awful, we were shouting at one another.
Wonderful came in from nyc for business meeting. Host, staff everyone is incredibly accommodating. I had a last minute important lunch meeting they were able to accommodate. Food was delicious and staff were extremely friendly. Very well run similarly to NYC's CPS location. Manager was extremely nicely highly recommend for all occasions
Worked well for a lunch meeting and there was no pressure to move along after eating.
Overall decent. Caesar salad had way too much dressing
Great place. Food was excellent and the service was wonderful. We will definitely go back
Not sure why the TVs have to be on in the dining room at lunch.
Getting together with friends met in Boston. Great lunch. Crab cakes very good
Food was delicious and service was prompt and attentive . Our waiter was very helpful with discussing our meal choices and offering wine suggestions . It was very crowded and somewhat noisy but still overall a great place to have dinner . Definitely plan to go back again soon .
Excellent dinner. Wide ranging menu with many excellent choices. Energetic atmosphere and good service. Overall, ideal pre-theater dinner.
I was out for my birthday on Friday 11/1 with friends. Our server was fine but he had 3 large tables so we felt we had to keep asking the food runner for more drinks. Additionally my friends got me a birthday card with a gift card inside which mistakenly I left behind in the booth. I called the restaurant 10 minutes after I left since I realized I forgot it. The hostess was rude and said they didn’t have it which I find hard to believe since it was literally 10 minutes afterwards so clearly someone who works there stole it since it was 10:30pm and there was not another table waiting to be sat at our table. I asked for a manager to call me and never received a phone call. Would I recommend this place to anyone or go back? Absolutely not.
Food was fresh and very good. Our server gave us the appropriate time to enjoy our meal.
Great place for good food and reasonable prices. Haven't been disappointed yet.
There's a lot of places to avoid in Boston. Serafina Downtown Boston is a place not to miss. Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Dined with my wife and two children, 12 and 14. My only regret is not finding this place until our last night there. I initially avoided booking here because I did not want to be rushed as typically happens in NYC restaurants in the theatre district. Don't miss out! Go to Serafina!
It was amazing food and great environment. There was an order issue that extended our time there but they made it up with comping the desert, will definitely return next time I’m in Boston
Everyone enjoyed their meal, delicious and healthy seafood choices followed by phenomenal desserts, and of course we ordered a pizza as an app to balance it all out 😁
We come here every time we are in Boston (at least once a year). The food is always fabulous and the wait staff is wonderful
Classy vibe with delicious food. The food came out very quick!
