Table outside. Good service.
Very bad service!
The food was very good - Perfect lunch , Service was attentive and timely , was able to have a conversation with my client without too much noise
Ill remember all of the locations for other casual lunch and dinner needs
The waiter kept ignoring us when we needed something. It took asking 3 times for water and I had to track someone down in order to pay my check.
Good place before and after theatre show. Their pizzas are very good
We ate at Serafina twice during a recent family vacation to NYC. It was conveniently located on the corner of Broadway and 55th, one block from our hotel, so was easy to pop over for dinner and then lunch the day of our departure. The service and food during our dinner was quite good. However, when we returned for lunch on Sat, the service was awful. The food was again good if not exceptional, but when your server takes forever to bring the wine you ordered, and when "flagged down" says they are out of that wine, and then takes another 10 minutes to bring a replacement bottle, the meal was not getting off to a great start. The server never filled out wine glasses and her demeanor was one of indifference. Maybe she was out too late the night before, but whatever the reason, she needs to find another line of work. This is a shame because, for the price, the food was quite reasonable for NYC.
The interior is drab, and the service was so-so. The food came out in 5 minutes which felt weird.. not sure why it was so fast, it’s like they already had it cooked. I’d never go back here.
the food was excellent but the service was lacking.
Fantastic reliable pasta dishes! Great atmosphere with background music jazz/ r&b, very cool
I should have read previous reviews more closely. The A/C was barely working, a lot of flies flying in our food. The service was horrible and the food was mediocre. So many better places to eat
The best as always.
I ordered a pasta with tomato sauce and it was delicious!
Great experience. Food was very good. Tiramisu cake Amazing!
Really is not as good as it used to be bugs flying around and air conditioner hardly working disappointed
Wine is overpriced, but basically everything was fine
Food is absolutely awful. I can’t see how a restaurant can exist in nyc w food this poor.
The food and service was excellent! My son was particularly happy there were four different types of raviolis on the menu which is a rare find! We totally enjoyed the dinner!
Food is good, service felt all over the place but not rude
Not worth it,,,Really bad service,, unattentive hostess seated me and when my guest arrived seated her at another table!,, had to ask twice for bread,,, the staff seem very confused,,when asked the second time for cheease for my pasta, got a very surly "he's getting it" response,, there are lots of other better choices in the neighborhood!
Loved the pasta and pizza. Atmosphere was a little too dark for my taste but our sever was lovely
This was our second time to Serafina Broadway, we wanted to bring our friends for dinner because we enjoyed it so much when we were there for dinner back in March.
We had 5:45 reservations because we had tickets to a show at 8PM. Upon arrival we were promptly seated, a round of drinks and food orders were placed.
We had salads and then the wait started. We asked our waiter who was doing his best to keep us all happy where our food was and his response was that they had a party in the back of 57 people and everything was basically backed up. Let me say that he was a great waiter who was in a difficult situation but this was not the way to answer that question. We asked to see the manager. This was now an hour wait for our food.
The manager promptly came over and explained about the party of 57 people they had to serve and there was nothing he could do. He did provide another round of drinks but this was sadly not very good customer service at all and the indication of an inexperienced restaurant manager.
Coming from the waiter was one thing but the manager made no attempt make the customer satisfied, offered nothing off of our bill. After waiting almost an hour and a half our food finally arrived, it was excellent, but we really couldn’t enjoy it as we had a show to get to.
We asked the manager, if they knew they had a large party to serve, and not enough staff to serve them and the rest of the customers in the restaurant, why didn’t they tell us? He had no response.
So overall, food was excellent, the waiter was great and did his very best to make a bad situation better, manager needs help!
Staff was rude, food was horrible...French toast was raw and when I told the waiter he argued with me that it was supposed to be that way...then when my husband spoke with the manager it was more of the same...staff actually made rude comments as we were leaving!!! Absolutely do not go!!
Just don’t do it
Awesome place. Go there a lot. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food is great
We came in to celebrate my
Good standby for the neighborhood. I always enjoy alfresco dinning. Service was very good. My favorite is the personal pizzas
The food, atmosphere and service were excellent! I would highly recommend Serafina to friends.
Good for pre-theater. Reliable and tasty.
Serafina NEVER disappoints!! It is so easy for a quick bite to eat or for a nice sit down meal. Drinks are also light and refreshing around lunch time.
Excellent breakfast spot in midtown
Food was great but service left a lot to be desired. Very unfriendly waiter, can’t tell you his name because he never told us. No smiles, just cut and dry questions.
Just ok. Expensive for what it is.
Good variety of food choices and great atmosphere. Drin prices ar a little high but the food prices were very reasonable
Very nice food - exceeded expectations
Loved Serafina. We sat outside and everything was great - appetizers, main course and drinks.
We have always gone to Serafina, food and service are consistent and typically good.
However, upon this visit we had terrible meal and service. We weren’t given any water and had to ask twice. Our waitress went on break and didn’t notify us, one of our orders were wrong, my steak salad was over cooked and def not worth 28$.
Maybe it was an off day. But it for sure was off-putting, won’t return to that location anytime soon.
They served our underage daughters, (who were 13 and 15) alcoholic beverages despite the fact we did not order alcoholic drinks. While they did it by mistake, when we told the manager (just for awareness as they can literally lose their alcoholic license over this), he was argumentative and rude and told us to get over it and walked away. Nothing was comped. Our daughters took several sips thinking it was what they ordered. This is a real problem that the manager should have addressed and been apologetic to us.
Pleasant environment. Careful, I rushed service. Good food
Not the greatest Serafina location. Wait staff was brusque, order was wrong and then cold. There are better options in midtown.
